Regarding the yard, we do want to clarify for future guests that the backyard is designated as pet-friendly, and pet cleanup during a stay is the responsibility of the guest. If there is ever an issue noted, we’re happy to address it once we’re made aware. We’re especially sorry to hear that you felt communication was lacking. We take pride in being highly responsive, which is reflected in the many reviews we’ve received complimenting our communication. In this particular case, we did our best to accommodate an unexpected extension request; however, the request was for one day at a time with no commitment beyond that. Unfortunately, repeatedly pushing back a scheduled cleaning on a day-to-day basis creates challenges with our cleaning team and limits our ability to accept last-minute bookings. For that reason, we weren’t able to extend the stay under those circumstances. Our goal is always to provide a comfortable, well-maintained home and a smooth experience for every guest. We appreciate the feedback and will continue striving to deliver the high level of service our guests expect.
