Enjoy stunning gulf views and uncrowded beaches

The Dunes is a gated condo complex with deeded beach access in the quiet part of Fort Morgan & Gulf Shores. The beach access is limited to two condo complexes and a small pocket of homes. This offers longs stretches of beach to enjoy with lots of privacy. From the condo, it is a two to three minute walk to the beach. The complex also includes an indoor pool with a hot tub, outdoor pool, and exercise room.

Dunes #405 is a one-bedroom unit with two full bathrooms that also includes a bunk bed alcove. In addition, there is a new sleeper sofa in the living allowing for up to 6 guests. There is a fully functional kitchen with all of the appliances, cookware and utensils needed to meet your cooking needs. The televisions in the living room and bedroom are smart TVs with a Roku device that includes YouTube TV, NetFlix, Hulu and DisneyPlus programming. There is also high-speed internet in the unit.

The Dunes is located near the Fort Morgan historic site and the ferry stop to Dauphin Island. Also, nearby is the popular Tacky Jack’s restaurant, Fort Morgan Marina, and several great golf courses.

Rentals are available with a two-day minimum to weekly, bi-weekly, monthly or longer.

Overall great place to stay. Clean, quiet, family friendly, and responsive owner. Hike to get in to town, but knowing that going in, it’s fine. Only a few minor issues during our stay, but handled appropriately by owner, very promptly. Two things I would be cautious of, there were tons of yellow jackets in the pool, mainly the indoor section. Not the owners fault, but the condo doesn’t leave a net to scoop anything out, the lady would take it with her when she was done. My kids got stung on multiple occasions. Also, it appears a house is being built, which will directly obstruct the view of the ocean, like in one of the photos of the property. Updating that photo will be crucial once the home is framed.

The condo is very lovely and spacious for my husband and I. There is a full kitchen with all that you need to cook or store food, a dishwasher for easy clean-up and even a clothes washer and dryer. This was a great time of year to come, there was plenty of local things to do, places to eat and have fun at. We were within walking distance to the Gulf of America. Brian was very easy to get in touch with during our stay. We would definitely consider choosing this place again when we are able to have a vacation next time.

We had a fabulous week at this rental! Check-in was very easy, the rental was very clean and had everything we needed plus some! The owner was excellent with communication as well. The view from the balcony was beautiful. Easy access to the beach. Loved our stay!

Nice place. Clean and fully stocked. Bed is super comfy. Pool and hot tub was great. Walk to the beach not bad at all. Tacky Jack's was delicious and very close. We enjoyed the fishing pier maybe a 3 minute drive by the Fort.

5 Stars Would Recommend

Our family of 4 loved this property. The beach was a very short walk, the pool was great to come back to, and the beds were comfortable! You are about a half hour down the island to most things but we didn’t mind for the beach convenience and calmness.

Almost perfect for a small getaway!

It was beautifully decorated, all beds were comfortable, communication with the owner was really easy. The only reason I gave it a 4 star instead of all 5 stars was because the shower in the bathroom in the bedroom didn’t have a shower head it’s just a pipe so it’s a little harder to make sure everything is clean and the second reason is because when you go on the balcony the sliding glass door is really tricky to close right to keep the air on so we had to constantly open and close it until the air would come back on or stay on. Other than that everything was perfect! If those two things were fixed I’d definitely book it again.

Exceptional stay

Our unit was very neat, it had lovely, beachy decor and the beds were comfortable especially the bunks. We played the board games and had use of the beach accessories like the boogie and skim board. The host was very responsive.

A Perfect Getaway

Our stay was nothing short of wonderful! The condo was immaculately clean, well-stocked, and provided everything we needed for a comfortable and stress-free vacation. From laundry soap and toiletries to a full set of pots and pans, it was clear that every detail was thoughtfully considered.The location was peaceful and relaxing, offering a true escape from the hustle and bustle. A short walk led to a stunning, quiet beach, where we enjoyed beautiful sunrises and uncrowded shorelines. Despite the secluded feel, it was only a quick and scenic drive into Gulf Shores, where we found endless dining, shopping, and entertainment options.If you’re looking for a clean, well-equipped, and tranquil place to stay with easy access to both nature and attractions, this is a fantastic choice. We had a great time at this Dunes condo. The view is amazing. The distance to the beach is a short walk. The condo is very nice. It was so peaceful. We will definitely hope to come back. Thank you so much. The host was really great.

Family Beach Vacation

Condo was everything it said it would be! Clean, comfortable, fully equipped, updated with plenty of room. We were pleasantly surprised with all the beach items at the condo that we were able to use. The beach was easy to get to. Most of all enjoyed the views from the balcony as well as the beach. The less crowded beach was a huge bonus! We would definitely return again and recommend to others.

Great Beach Trip

The property was very clean and comfortable. I would recommend stopping for all your grocery needs on the way there because it’s about a 30 minute trip back to any major stores.

Clean, Nicely decorated, and Great beach access!!

Very clean!! Updated and modern, yet very comfortable. Located on 4th floor, however there are 2 elevators and we never waited more than about a minute for an elevator. There are carts at the elevator for you use to help you easily get your luggage to the condo (which was unexpected and very helpful). It’s about a 3-5 minute walk to beach, but it’s all on pavement until you actually hit the sand, so it’s a VERY easy walk. The pool Is large, goes from 3-5 feet deep and the hot tub was great! If you’ve never been to gulf shores before, be sure to pick up a bucket and net from wal-mart and go out to the beach after dark to hunt for ghost crabs (super fun activity that our family LOVES!)
just be sure to release them back into the water/sand. Lastly, the owner was very friendly and responsive, so if you need anything he’s super helpful.

Family trip

Every year our entire family has stayed in the same condominiums just spread out in gulf shores but this year we decided to try and do the same in Fort Morgan and we’re so glad we did! The area is perfect. It looks like a much further walk to the beach than it is. Majority of the walk is paved and then you have a quick walk through the sand to the water. The pool area is super nice and everything was so clean. We needed to contact the owner on two separate occasions and he called us within 3 minutes both times. The condo itself was extremely clean and had several things we needed already. We are already looking at rebooking!

The Dunes condo has all of the amenities you could ask for - indoor/outdoor pool, hot tub, and a workout room. The walk to the beach is three to four minutes.

In addition, we take a lot of pride and make the effort in keeping our unit updated and clean.
