Summary:
Welcome to the Del Norte House! “Home Away from Home” Find your peace of mind staying in this nice, safe, and quiet neighborhood. Centrally located, this home provides lots of activities in the surrounding that will keep you busy and allow you to explore our coastal city.

The Space:
The house is a three-bedroom spacious open living area equipped with Roku and cable TV, fireplace and lots of games. It is also equipped with a full kitchen so you can enjoy your own homemade meals. The house has a shared bathroom between the bedrooms. Feeling competitive? Roll out the Ping Pong table and go a few rounds! Grab the Beach Towels and head to the back yard with the spa! Fire up the Grill and enjoy your outdoor me. The coffee maker is a drip maker. HOT TUB NOT IN USE for WINTER. No pets.

Other Things to Note:
Internet/Cell Phone Coverage/Utilities WiFi is usually reliable, but may be impacted by coastal weather. Most cell providers have strong reception, but occasional service interruptions can occur due to the remote location.

Our stay in this home was amazing! The open concept made the house feel big and airy, yet comfortable and homey. It was clean and well maintained. There are lots of great spaces to relax and hang out with family and friends. The backyard is a zen oasis to relax in and the hot tub was perfect after being out hiking and exploring all wonders of nature in this area. Close to the California redwoods and the Boardman Scenic Corridor. We love the place so much we would love to buy it, so I definitely highly recommend this home!

Cute, comfy and fun for kids

This house was perfect for our family vacation. My kids loved the ping pong table and the hot tub. Great kitchen, nice beds and couches, plenty of blankets. We spent a lot of time on the beaches and exploring the redwoods.

Great Weekend Spot!

The Del Norte house was a perfect spot to stay for the weekend; we were a group of five adults and there was plenty of space for everybody without being forced into only one central area the whole time. The backyard was very nicely tended and with the hot tub a great place to relax in the lovely coastal weather, and the kitchen is great, and the owner/property manager was very responsive and helpful. Its proximity to the beach and to restaurants was also a great plus. Overall this is definitely a place I would come back to if I were in Brookings again.

Disappointed

Yard need mowed, flower garden needed major cleaning. Hot tub buttons didn't work, no instructions on how to operate it with the buttons not working. Game room , the light fixture needs an electrician to look into it, major flickering, the main bathroom had mold on the ceiling above the toliet, mold around the grout in the shower, second bathroom no electrical outlets, shower so small you couldn't bend over to wash your feet, opened potato chip bags in the cupboard from a recent customer, the tv in the main bedroom didn't work, no internet to it. If it did work again no instructions. When you first walk into the home all you can smell is urine. The big window looking out from the kitchen table couldn't see out, because over growth. No ocean view like the picture makes you to believe. Very disappointed.

Loved this house!

We really enjoyed our stay at this house. There was plenty of room, the beds were comfortable, and it was clean and spacious. The hot tub was so nice to sit in at night time and the communication with the rental company/property managers was great. They were very courteous and friendly and made sure that we had everything we needed. The next time we head to Southern Oregon or the Redwoods, we will choose this house again as our home base.

House was overall great! Had a weird smell at first, we opened the windows and aired out the house. Grocery stores were close by. Beach access was just a short drive away.

Pleasant stay.

The place was clean and close to a supermarket. Found access down the road to the beach. House had a strong musty but we opened the windows to air out. Hot tub was fantastic.

Wonderful Brookings Stay

Great house that was well equipped and perfect location for exploring Samuel Boardman and getting down to the Northern California redwoods. The host made check-in easy and the place was super clean and well laid out. The ping ping and hot tub was fun too! Would definitely stay here again the next time we’re in the area.

Relaxation

I loved the sun room and the back yard was beautiful. I could live in those two areas. Very well kept. Comfortable, clean and inviting. I’ll have to grab this next year so we can bring our 2 grandchildren. They would of loved it! Thank you so much!
