Completely remodeled cottage ; 2 minute walk to the beach!
Master Bedroom comes with Phillips Smart TV, Ceiling fan , king bed and hardwood flooring. Guest Bedroom has queen bed and private entrance. 3rd bedroom / cozy with single bed. Separate entrance to this bedroom. House has hardwood flooring throughout. Kitchen includes small eat in area, microwave, stove, refrigerator, coffee pot and fully stocked kitchen. Master bathroom has shower, vanity and stackable washer/dryer. 1/2 bathroom as well.
Great room with ceiling fan, ROKU smart tv. House has high speed Xfinity internet. House is cleaned professionally and deep cleaned professionally yearly. Central heat and air. Favorite spot in the house is front porch with ample seating areas and table and six chairs for outdoor dining. Area under house with outdoor shower, patio seating , grill and hammock. Linens are NOT included. Guest will need to bring their own bedsheets, towels (bath) and beach towels.

Owner's a psycho. Has called me accusing me of have a dog in the house even though i have sitter accounts at home. Freezer had liquor in it when we arrived and house reeked of cheap garlic. Didnt open our mouths as we thought it was someones resident. Strongly advise against staying. Smells like a restraining order.

Beautiful home along with a wonderful host! Quick to respond with any questions we had. Check in was a breeze, a well stocked kitchen, very clean rooms, comfy beds, and such a quick walk to the beach. Had everything we needed. The only thing I hated was saying goodbye! Can’t go wrong with this property!

Quintessential Edisto beach cottage

This property was exactly what we needed - cozy and classic Edisto, with an easy walk to the beach and great amenities. We absolutely loved having our meals on the front porch. Additionally, Terri was great to work with, and very patient with my numerous questions. I’m not sure this property would be ideal for multiple couples or families with very young children (no bathtub or children’s items and external doors on both secondary bedrooms), but it was perfect for our family of three (with 8 year old son) and we will definitely consider it for future Edisto vacations.

Convenient & cute beach house!

We will definitely be staying here again! Very cute and convenient for our family of 4 (4 year old and 21 month old). Owner was very communicative. Porch was big and the property is just a block from the beach. Walking distance to Whaley's Restaurant & a quick drive to Food Lion. Washer and dryer was very useful especially since weren't aware that we had to bring bath towels so we washed the beach towels!! Beds were very comfy! Thanks for allowing us to stay! We would love to come back this fall!

Lovely home!

This home is so cute and very clean. The screened in front porch was perfect for relaxing anytime of day. You are literally right across the street from the beach access. We enjoyed out stay very much and will definitely be back!

Just what we needed

This is a great little house! It was perfect for my family. Super convenient location. Loved the well appointed kitchen. The screened-in porch is the star of the show; It has set the standard for future rentals. A lot of thought has gone into providing the renter with everything we’d need. Great stay!

Great place to call home for a week

Very convenient, right in the middle of everything. Not far from the golf course and a very short walk to the beach. The appearance and vibe of the house is nice. It feels comfortable and lived in. Full control over the central air was awesome, many rentals do not allow. I’d try make sure all the outlet and switch boxes have covers to keep small children from being shocked!

A beautiful cottage

We had a great time. Beautifully decorated, lots of little details. Kitchen is well-stocked. The beds are very comfortable. The beach is very close, too, like stated. I left something behind, and the owner is graciously sending it back to me. I feel the housekeepers missed the mark a little because the floor had dog or cat hair on it when we arrived and some dirty dishes were left. With a couple of updates, this place would get all stars from me.

Off-season easin'

This house is really special. It's a perfect location just a short walk to the beach. You can listen to the waves while you sit on the delightful screened-in porch. My wife & I cooked several tasty local seafood meals in the kitchen with one of the best-stocked spice racks of any rental we've stayed in. I have some mobility issues due to MS, but I found the house very accessible thanks to the rail on the steps. The shower would feel safer with a rail or handle, but no real issues & the beach walk was easy enough even with my cane. Visitors should remember that it still can get cold on the beach in the off season. I don't think the weather forecast was accurate for any day we were there, so make sure to pack a coat. Would recommend the house to anyone for any time of year!

This house is so cute and perfect! It is just what we needed, and so close to walk to the beach. Very clean as well. We loved sitting out on the screened in porch at night. Would definitely recommend!

Very short walk to beach with great access!

The house is as described and across the main road from the beach. We stayed with our two young kids (4 and 5) and they were easily able to walk to the beach from the house without us worrying about having to drive them if they couldn't handle the distance. The kitchen is small, so take shifts trying to cook and do dishes! The beds are all extremely comfortable with plenty of pillows but bring your own sheets and pillowcases. The kitchen has all cooking items you might need, but bring your own ziplock bags, foil, etc if you need it. Because you are on the main road, some of the trucks driving by can be noisy but my kids were so tired they were never woken up by that. Overall it was a great house for a small family looking for a quiet, easy way to get to the beach daily. We really enjoyed this house and its location to everything we wanted to do! We will be back.

We enjoyed staying at this vacation home! It was clean, had everything we needed, close walk to the beach, beautiful front porch, it was exactly what we were looking for. We come to Edisto each year & we are happy that we chose this home to spend our vacation at. The host is lovely & easy to communicate with!

Great beach house

Perfect place for our family vacation for 3. Very short walk to the beach. You could almost see the beach from the front porch.. and the front porch was amazing.. huge, screened, with a huge dining table. The outside shower was a great amenity to have after a day at the beach to wash all the sand off.. the only bad thing I would say is that we only had 3 bath towels for the week.. and the wash machine did not smell good.. the house was charming, comfortable, and clean. I would absolutely recommend this place and stay here again!

Great location to beach

Property was great proximity to everything. Enjoyed family time and lots of beach time. Property seems way bigger in the pictures online. Also buy a new can opener!!!! Over grrst place to stay.

Cute cottage, easy beach access.

Girls "weekend" was great. The cottage was clean, well decorated with art work, and supplied well with kitchen and bath needs. Easy and close beach access, and we loved eating on the front porch. Our only complaint was around some confusion at check out. The VRBO site said checkout was at 11:00 am, as did the email we received with access code and check-inn and check-out instructions. We were somewhat taken aback when workmen showed up at 8:00 am to put up underpinning on the house so I called the owner. While she did say they weren't supposed to be there that early, she insisted that our checkout time was 10:00.
