Weekend in St John’s

Jim is an excellent host. Check in and check out were a breeze. Great location, walking distance to Quidi Vidi. Excellent view. We would definitely stay there again!

Serene little paradise

We had a phenomenal stay here. The location is amazing, the house is so well set up and beautiful and we couldn’t get over how beautiful the backyard / porch view was. Such a special way to wake up in the morning. Honestly we wished we had booked this place for our whole stay in St Johns. Jim was super accommodating and easy to communicate with. We would love to stay here again when we get back to SJ! :)

Stayed many times in St. John’s over the years but this was our first visit to Quidi vidi. Walking distance to the brewery and just around the corner you can go back in time 100 years.

Brief But Enjoyable

Our family of three stayed at this property for a brief weekend visit and would recommend it highly. The neighbourhood is very quiet, the location is a convenient drive from downtown, and the home has all the comforts and amenities we could ask for. The view from the back deck is especially recommended.

My family and I really loved our stay at Jim's place. The home is beautiful - the pictures don't do it justice! It had everything we needed and everyone was comfortable in their rooms. The scenery is gorgeous and the location was ideal. We walked down to Quidi Vidi gut most days, and it's an easy walk. It's super easy to get to downtown as well. We also did the hike from Signal Hill. Jim was always responsive and we appreciated the little touches like the welcome note in the kitchen. We would all absolutely stay here again!

Very well appointed property and kitchen, perfectly situated for dog walks to Signal Hill and to Quidi Vidi village. Ten minute drive to center of St John’s. We would happily stay here again.

Absolutely beautiful place! It is located within walking distance of trails and a short drive to downtown St. John's. The view off the back porch is nothing short of stunning. We felt very spoiled. Will definitely book again!

A perfect place to stay with a view.

This home was very well equipped,comfortable, spacious and inviting. The location is perfect for those who are visiting St John’s but want to be close to Signal Hill and right in Quidi Vidi village. The view from the upper deck is gorgeous and one can hike to Signal Hill easily and to the Sugar Loaf trail. Beds are comfortable and rooms are lovely.

Lovely and comfy home

The photos of this property don’t do it justice. This property is well stocked and well maintained. It was very comfortable, close to everything you’d want, and the beds and linens were topnotch. In addition, the home offers a lovely view and is super quiet neighborhood.

Large house with spectacular view

We enjoyed sipping champagne on the porch and gazing over the beauty of Quidi Vidi Harbour. Excellent location away from the hussle and bussle of the city yet not far away and easily reached by car. Quidi Vidi lake just down the hill provides a long loop for wonderful morning walks. Recommended!
