Beautiful place!

It was a wonderful place to stay for our visit to San Diego. The apartment was clean, safe, and in a nice neighborhood. Will definitely book again!

Nice Place with a Couple of Issues

This place has potential and is an excellent location. The unit is a former garage, breezeway, and enclosed back porch converted into a one bedroom stay. Pros: 1) Property Manager communication was AMAZING. Responses were almost immediate. 2) Quiet, safe neighborhood and perfectly located for a visit to the San Diego area. 3) Kitchen area is awesome and has all utensils/essentials needed. 4)Yard area is fenced in, a great size and very well kept. A table/chairs might be nice to sit outside. 5) Washer/Dryer combo is handy and works well. 6)Plenty of closet space/drawers for clothing storage. Cons: 1) HOT!!! The small room AC unit does NOT keep the place cool AT ALL. Property owner and property manager both brought fans and there was a ceiling fan in the bedroom but it NEVER cooled down. Even through the night it was miserable to sleep. The front room would cool overnight but would be hot by 10:30 a.m. each day. Keeping the curtains closed was a MUST or it would quickly become a sauna. 2) The shower is beautiful BUT the water never got very warm. Also took quite awhile to get warm. There was VERY little water pressure in the shower ever. 3) Parking was only street parking even though there was a nice driveway that was available but not allowed for use by those staying in the place. Street parking was a slight issue. We did enjoy our stay. Needs central AC and shower warmth/pressure. Description changed during our stay. A bit pricey for what we had.

Thank you so much Riley for your review. We greatly appreciate the feedback on how we can improve, as you and Sydney were the first guests to mention anything about the water pressure as well as the heat in the back room. Rest assured both issues have maintenance scheduled and we will be putting in a central AC system. To clarify about the driveway parking, this was not allowed, and was never permitted because the owner requires driveway access for his vehicle. In order for guests to safely and conveniently leave, the owner would have to move his vehicle every time, causing inconvenience as he is in and out throughout the day for work, and would not want to disrupt a path for guests. The driveway is also not wide enough due to the power pole placement, which would not be granted by the city to safely allow two vehicle accessibility. There is plenty of street parking, which previous guests have always found directly outside the house. We apologize for any of the discomfort caused and we hope you have received your items we shipped, that you forgot in one of the dresser drawers. You are always welcome back, and we guarantee that central AC will be up and running :)
