My husband and I enjoyed our recent stay at the Saltmarsh Cottage in Darien, GA! The spacious cottage offered such serene and gorgeous views of the marsh and river from the kitchen, porches and upstairs bedrooms. The house was impeccably clean and beautifully decorated in a coastal theme. All amenities were provided for a comfortable stay. Although we didn’t cook in order to enjoy the delicious seafood Darien offers, the kitchen was well-stocked. We arrived somewhat later than planned and the exterior and interior lighting our hosts provided felt so welcoming! We hope to return soon!

Wonderful. Better than pictures show. House is perfectly designed and in excellent condition. View off the porch is stunning and you will spend most of your time there. Shops and restaurants are only a short two block walk away. The river, the boats, the tabby ruins of Darien are at your finger tips. The hosts are delightful and helpful. In 20 years of VRBO and 30 years of visiting the Golden Isles area, this was our first ever stay in Darien. We will return as long as we can stay here again. Not enough stars can be given. Thanks Kevin and Christin for an extraordinary experience.

Cottage overlooking the marsh

My husband, daughter, and I had a wonderful long weekend in this cottage. We had everything we needed and plenty of room for privacy for all. The house has an amazing master suite with a shower that will make you want stay clean ! It was easy checking in, and I loved being able to choose my own code for entrance. The location is close to restaurants , shopping, etc., pand provides a lovely area to walk under towering oaks. I loved being able to go out on the top balcony each morning to do my yoga. Wow! What a wonderful view of the marsh with spring birds singing

Work Trip

I took a few buddy’s from work and my son on a weekend fishing and duck hunting trip. We didn’t do very well hunting or fishing. The house was the best part of our trip.

Great Home Base for Wedding Weekend

We had a family wedding at a nearby Bed and Breakfast. This VRBO was used as a home base for the groom's family. The house is super comfortable, relaxing, and their is attention to detail in the finishes. The walk to downtown Darien is a minute or two. The view is lovely! Our hosts were helpful with changes to number of guests and check in, as well as check in/out. We highly recommend this place!

Good choice - not far from the interstate in Darien GA

Spacious, well appointed, clean VRBO in decent neighborhood with nice views of the inlet from deck porch. Neat historic small town of Darien along waterfront.

Beautiful home for a peaceful getaway

Our family of four had an amazing stay. From the manicured lawn, clean porches, and fresh scent as we entered the home, we were extremely pleased from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. We all felt right at home from the start. The home was beautiful and simply, yet intentionally decorated, and equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The home was impeccably clean - no dust lurking under the furniture or in the closets. The beds were comfortable. The neighbors were friendly. The view was AMAZING. The hosts were just the right amount of attentive. I travel to this area a lot and will stay here as often as possible.
