The Snowflake Abode is a beautiful large duplex home located on a quiet cul de sac not too far from the Steamboat Ski Resort base. The ground floor is ideal for living or entertaining. It consists of a large kitchen with separate dining room, family room, deck and fenced back yard, half bath, foyer, and a heated garage. The rooms are spacious with an open layout. The large kitchen features a gas range, a warming drawer, microwave, beautiful cabinetry, granite slab counters, a large refrigerator with filtered water and ice dispenser, lots of lighting options, and plenty of room for multiple chefs. There's also a bar and pass through to the dining room, which invites you to keep your chef company, and makes it easy to serve and clean up meals. The separate dining room has a table and seating for 8, and 3 people can dine at the adjoining bar.

The large living room has plenty of comfortable furniture to ensure there is space for your whole group to enjoy each other's company after a day full of adventure. A 50 inch HDTV and gas fireplace add to the ambiance. Large banks of windows provide ample natural light in the living and dining rooms. Wooden blinds cover the windows when you prefer more privacy.

Outside, the home is surrounded by mature landscaping that provides privacy and a view of the mountain. The back yard is fenced with a deck and grassy area that is an ideal and safe place for kids to play. During the summer, a large dining table, 12 chairs and multiple side tables ensure your outdoor experience to be comfortable.

The second floor has two bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms and a laundry room. Both bedrooms have closets and dressers for storage, HDTVs, ceiling fans, and air conditioning. One room has a King bed and the other has a Queen bed.

On the 3rd floor, you'll find a 2nd large family room with vaulted ceilings, a wet bar with refrigerator, microwave, and sink. The room provides ample seating for all your family and friends to enjoy the large HDTV for a movie night or to catch the game. Or play a game of cards on the small table with seating for 4. Also on the 3rd floor, there is a walk-in sauna, perfect for easing those muscles after a day on the mountain. There are 2 bedrooms on this level along with a full bathroom and a closet full of games and toys for the kids! One bedroom has 2 twin beds and the other has a double bed.

The location is convenient in any season. There is a free shuttle (Steamboat City Bus) that drops off at mountain base which stops every 20 minutes about 50 yards from the home. Or on a nice day, you might walk or bike to the slopes. It's a flat .7 mile (10 minute) walk, and the city snow blows the sidewalks that lead you directly to Gondola Square. If renting equipment, overnight storage for your skis and snowboards at the base of the slopes makes this walk easy or inquire about the availability of our locker in Gondola Square that you can rent for an additional charge.

If you do plan to have cars, you'll be able to park 3 of them with no problem. There is direct access to the kitchen from the garage, which makes unloading groceries easy. The property is a duplex home with a shared driveway. The heated garage has ample room for 1 car, and 1-2 additional spaces directly in front of garage provide comfortable parking for up to 3 cars (depending on size).
