Summary:

South Wind Retreat is located at the heart of Cranberry Resort, minutes from downtown Collingwood, and approximately a 10 minute drive from the Village at Blue Mountain with beautiful walking trails at your finger tips.



The Space:

South Wind Retreat is a cozy 625 square feet condo. 2 bedrooms / 1 bathroom unit that sleeps 5 between a Queen Bed and Bunk Bed (Twin over Double). There is a spacious 4 piece bathroom with in suite washer and dryer. Condo was fully renovated featuring a cozy vibe in the heart of Cranberry Village / Living Resort.

South Wind is located at the heart of Cranberry Resort (Living Stone), it is minutes to Downtown Collingwood, and approximately a 10 minute drive from the Village at Blue Mountain. Right at your fingertips you will have access to the trails which are great for biking and walking.

Guests have access to the full condo with no restrictions. There is 1 reserved parking space in front of the unit. And visitor parking for an additional car at a first come, first serve basis.



The Neighborhood:

Located in the heart of Living Stone Resort. The unit is surrounded by walking trails and the golf course. Great for those that want to be centrally located but still within minutes to all the activities the area has to offer.



Getting Around:

Downtown Collingwood and Blue Mountain are accessible mostly by car. The Georgian trail is located a minute away from the condo and can be used to bike and walk.

This was our third stay in an Alpine Cedars unit; this location - ground floor, corner - was definitely the best. We appreciated the overall cleanliness and the care with which the unit had been prepared (towel sculptures were cute). The unit does not have closets; we would have appreciated some clothes racks, but I say that about almost all units we rent. This complex is close to everything we could ever need. We tried Thonburi Thai just around the corner and were delighted with the quality and taste of the food. If anyone likes ramen, be sure to try the whimsically-named Honey Monster in nearby Stayner! What really stood out is the speed with which hosts Steph and Joseph responded to any question or concern that we had. They are excellent hosts and we hope to rent a unit again next summer!

Nice location

The condo is very clean and has pretty much everything you need. There are walking paths nearby and some great restaurants within easy reach. Highly recommend.

Great location and property

We loved the location, quiet street where we could walk and enjoy trails and outdoors. Quick drive to amenities and groceries. The unit was great, clean and mini kitchen was well equipped with kitchen fixtures.Hope to be back soon with the family for another Collingwood trip.

Cozy and Comfortable

My husband and I had a pleasant, relaxing 7 day stay at South Wind. Condo is well appointed and equipped with everything needed for a stress-free get away. Christmas decorations were an unexpected, and festive touch. We wouldn't hesitate to make South Wind our go to accommodation if it is available next time we are in the Collingwood area.

Easy and affordable choice for families with small kids

The accommodations were exactly as pictured and the condo was well stocked to get you through your trip. It was centrally located to all Collingwood and the surrounding area has to offer. The property management team was easy to reach and prompt with their replies. The high chair and travel crib were a great option to have when travelling with small kids.

Blue mountain hiking

This was the perfect place for us to make as our home base while we hike some of the local Bruce trail. It had everything we needed, communications with the host was spot on and it was very clean. Thank you, we will visit again
