This space boasts original hardwood flooring and beams as well as exposed brick and custom stairwells made with beams from the building.
The apartment consists of a large gathering area, two beautiful master suites with king-sized beds, and en-suite bathrooms.

Overall good stay. Refrigerator made loud noise {squealing/vibrating}--but the host was accessible to discuss promptly. Loft was clean and spacious.

The property was rustic/modern, we all enjoyed it for the girls getaway. Some minor issues but nothing that would keep us from coming back. Very convenient to the whole downtown area. Will be back with my husband next spring.

Came exactly as advertised. Located in the middle of the Galena "strip." Dripping with history, you could almost feel General Grant riding by in the street below.

Beautiful place Perfect Location

This second floor place was so beautiful. It was clean, had unique decor and exposed brick from the 1900. Beds were comfy and baths were clean. Lots of space to watch or play cards. This was perfect!!

We enjoyed being able to walk to nearby shops and restaurants. The parking spot was close and safe. We unit was clean and fully stocked with items needed for a comfortable stay.

Charming Upstairs Apartment

The apartment is in the heart of the historic downtown Galena shopping district; we seldom took the car. The two bedrooms are large, each with a private bath. The kitchen is equipped with all you will need, except the food and drinks, although we barely used it since there are great downtown restaurants nearby. The living room had comfortable seating, which we enjoyed. We were there during a very cold week, and the apartment stayed toasty warm. If our travels take us back to Galena, we would be happy to stay here again.

We had the best time! Spotless, great amenities, beautiful seasonal touches. Location cannot be beat and so much fun being in the heart of it all. A must see and stay in Galena. We’ll be back!

Nice loft right on the main drag.

Very nice loft on the Main Street in downtown Galena. Spacious and nicely decorated. Brick walls are fabulous. Lots of stairs but adds to the charm.

The condo was amazing. Centrally located, super comfortable furniture and beds, top- line linens on the beds. Location was close to everything we wanted to do, and the restaurants were very good.

Right on Main

Two retired couples and we couldn’t have been more pleased with the unit. You enter from Commerce st and you do have 21 steps up to get to unit. Unit then has two primary suites, one up and one on main level both with full baths. The unit is very clean and well maintained with loads of character. Half bath is also on main level which is a plus. We luvd the unit for location and cleanliness

Perfect Galena Getaway

Incredible find in downtown Galena. Great to have a dedicated parking spot for the extremely busy weekends, and a perfect place for 2 couples. Clean and comfortable, and did I mention location?!! Right there in the middle of everything. We would definitely stay there again.

First timers in Galena

We couldn't have had a better location. Food, bars, shopping and river were all just outside the door. The apartment was nicely furnished. My friend and I each had more than enough room to hang out while at the apartment. Late-night street noise below was noticeable on Friday evening but better on Sat & Sun.
