Amazing location and condo

Loved everything about the condo! The pool was right outside the condo, the beach was clean, the beds were super comfy, it was spacious and the over resort was wonderful. Will definitley stay here again.

Had a great week a VLE. The three bedroom condo is spacious and couldn’t be a better location. Just steps from the pool and three units away from the beach.

Amazing

This is my second stay at this property and I have stayed at Estancia in Cabo 8 times. This is by far the cleanest villa we have stayed in. It felt like home! The master bed was so comfortable, the kitchen was stocked with all our needs! We will definitely stay again!

amazing girls trip

We went as a group of 8 ladies for a girls trip. The condo was amazing! Very clean and beautiful. It was in a very safe area. We walked down the beach to Bucerías and enjoyed lunch at Karen’s on the beach. We did the all inclusive option at the hotel which worked out great for breakfast, lunch by the pool and dinners at the Flamingo next door. Thank you Melba!

Excellent Villa for Family or Couples

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Estancia and loved this 3 bedroom villa. We were here with friends (adults) for a 50th birthday celebration and chose to rent villas to share with friends vs all separate rooms. The ground floor location is very convenient and steps from the pool and walkway to the lobby or beach. It is set back enough to have privacy. The decor in the room was very unique and the beds were super comfortable. Note that in timeshared housekeeping is something you will need to book on your own at an extra charge but you will find lots of towels and linens in the rooms. At first I was disappointed to realize this but it was no issue at all and I hardly noticed (we opted not to have the service). Overall, I highly recommend Melba and her lovely villa and we hope to return.

Amazing unit on a fantastic property!

Booked a last minute trip and I was a little apprehensive about our rushed plans but am familiar with the Villa la Estancia property as there is one in Cabo that we have enjoyed on several trips. Tom was very responsive and helpful, and while no unit number was specified I decided to roll the dice and hope for the best. We ended up in one of the loveliest units we have ever enjoyed with a great ocean view on the 7th floor. Check in and out was very easy and the property is very well run and quiet. Great pool area and staff and while we are able to enjoy the restaurants and activities of Villa Palmar next door I like the slightly more upscale and quieter La Estancia pool area. The unit was in great condition and spotless upon our arrival. We loved drinking coffee on the large patio and bought groceries at the nearby Mega, which made breakfast and snacks with our kids much easier. Beach was great, clean and swimmable, and while there are vendors they have to keep at a distance in our roped off sitting area. The girls enjoyed fresh mangos on the beach cut into flower shapes and we dined often in Bucerias, the little town five minutes away via taxi. We will return for sure!

Wow.!....What a great vacation.

Overall, this trip was a 11 out of 10! Villa La Estancia is a first class resort about 20 miles north of Puerto Vallarta in Nuevo Vallarta. The resort is right on the water, so you can pool it or beach it or both. The resort grounds are beautifully maintained and come with a large work out room and top notch spa. The pool is wonderfully maintained with plenty of cushioned chairs and umbrellas for everyone in your party. There is a swim up bar and the food/ pool service is outstanding. We stayed in a 3 bedroom unit that comes with a two king suites, one double queen suite and a living room/kitchen area....all with a deck that overlooks the ocean. Just doesn't get any better than this. The resort is within walking distance (or short cab ride) of the beautiful town of Bucerias that sports first class dining and shopping. Too many wonderful places to even mention here. And the world renowned "city on the bay" of Puerto Vallarta is just a 30 min cab ride away. There are too many activities to mention, but we loved the sunset cruise and our whale watching trip. Food, drink, and activities are all inexpensive compared to other resort areas around the world. So, if you are looking for the perfect vacation to take with your family or friends, come to Puerto Vallarta and Villa La Estancia, You will enjoy every minute.!

Excellent Villa for Family or Small Group

We had a short but superior stay and rented the full 3 bedroom villa at Villa Estancia. We personally really like being on the ground floor due to the easy access and since I was hosting a birthday event it was nice always be close to the pool and beach. The beds were super comfy and pillows were cozy. Housekeeping is not provided with this type of property which I was at first disappointed about because love the turndown service and overall a cleanup but it was completely fine and there were loads of towels in the room. Melba was responsive and easy to communicate with which was much appreciated. I have no complaints about the room, the quality, the cleanliness, location and amenities. Villa Estancia is very quiet though at night and shuts the bar and bar food down very early, so prepare yourself for that if you like to be at the swim up bar past 6. However, you can go next door to the sister resort or to Bucerias down the road nearby for some action. We loved sitting on the beach at sunset so we shopped for our own snacks at the market to have during that period. Wonderful vacation overall.

Beautiful resort and condo.

This resort is quite special. You are treated to the best of resort amenities and the comfort of a spacious condo. The resort pool and restaurants are lovely. Try the restaurants in Bucerías. They are fabulous. The Mega Store for groceries is a short drive away. We have vacationed in both Melba’s two and three bedroom condominium. We loved them both. The kitchens are fully stocked. The furniture is upgraded. The mattresses are terrific. We especially love the first floor location. The owner, Melba, is very responsive and helpful. Our favorite vacation ever!

As always, Villa la Estancia delivered!. Melba and Tom helped us rent a fabulous unit on the ground floor with easy access to everything. The accommodations are second to none and we continue to return year after year. We love VLE. My family's favorite destination in PV

We have been coming to Villa Estancia for several years. Our boys (now 10 & 11) love it here & so do we. This was the first time that we booked directly with an owner & we had a great experience with Melba. The unit was fantastic and it was easy to interact/correspond with Melba. The staff at Estancia, the food and safe but environment and the proximity to restaurants in Bucerias make this destination a no-brainer.

Excellent Customer Service

OK, full disclosure up front! We visited Villa La Estancia in March 2016 but Melba and Tom's unit was not available so Melba arranged a very similar unit for us on the fifth floor. A bit of background on unit numbers at this resort. Rooms all have a four digit number, then an A or a B. The first digit represents the building number (1,2,3), the second the floor number and the last two the actual unit number. In general, for buildings 1 and 3 which are the ones that run perpendicular to the ocean along the sides of the resort, the lower the unit number, the closer to the ocean. There are a few maps on Google images that show the layout and this is important. Building 1 gets the afternoon and evening sun and view of the sunset. Building 3 gets the morning sun. Units closer to the beach are generally better, particularly for view and sun. So the ideal units are generally 1-5 in buildings 1 and 3 and maybe the units on the higher floors in building 2. Most units (except penthouses) are either 2+1 or 1+1. A 2+1 has two bedrooms in the main unit, then another bedroom immediately beside it. There is a gate common to both the A and B units but it is not secure enough to leave the doors between them open if you are not around. Both the A and B units have a hotel style card lock door that you need to keep closed at night for security. If you have kids and want them in a separate bedroom, getting one of the 'real' 2 bedroom units is important. The 1+1 would likely not make most parents comfortable! If your kids are older, then no problem. You also share the balcony so can go between rooms that way. Our unit was a 2+1 and we had our two older kids (18,23) so we used all three bedrooms. The units are well appointed. We opted not to go for the all inclusive meal plan as it was fairly expensive. There are so many restaurants to visit in the area that it would be a shame to spend all of your time just at the resort. We went to the Mega store (15 minute walk, cheap taxi back) for groceries on day 1 to stock up and did most breakfasts in our unit, then either ate lunch at the resort, at Flamingos next door (part of the same chain so you have full access) or in Bucerias (15-20 min walk or $8US cab). There are four bathrooms and four showers in a 2+1 so plenty of space. Beds are comfortable, water is safe. Out of space so look for our review in Trip Advisor under Oakvillites

Paradise In Mexico !!

First I want to thank Melba and Tom for such an amazing experience in Nuevo Vallarta.. Before we left for our vacation it was a pleasure working with Melba .. She was able to answer all my questions and had very good advice for when we stayed in their condo.. We arrived to a gorgeous, clean, spacious condo on beautiful grounds surrounded by pools, restaurants, hot tubs and the beach.. If you are reading my review I assume you have read through 20 others before mine.. Everything they say I agree with so no need to repeat.. I do want to mention we had other friends who also stayed at La Estancia in different units, we had the opportunity to see them and by far Melba and Tom's unit was decorated nicer with large pieces of furniture and amazing beds.. They also were kind enough to stock the place with items that came in handy where as our friends either went without OR had to purchase them while in Mexico..I was a little concerned this unit was on the bottom floor but once we arrived I couldn't have been happier with the location and being on the ground floor had many advantages...If you have made your decision to travel to the Nuevo Vallarta area you will not be making a mistake staying at La Estancia and or dealing with Melba and Tome.. Enjoy!

Perfect condo!

This condo was absolutely perfect! I stayed here with 4 friends and we had so much room! The bed are soooo comfortable and all of the furniture is very nice. We didn't spend much time in the condo, but I almost wished we had since it was so lovely. It's on the ground floor so it's perfect to walk right out to the pool or water without feeling like you need to pack up and leave for the day. I can't recommend this condo enough!

Villa La Estancia

This was my 5th or 6th time staying at this particular rental. The owners are simply THE BEST!!!! They have the most beautiful units within Villa La Estancia...even the staff thinks their decor is the prettiest! The condo is always immaculate upon arrival. You couldn't ask for anything....the bedrooms are spacious and completely equipped with anything you would desire. The living space is incredible with a huge circular table which seats 6 or 8. The kitchen is gorgeous with beautiful granite countertops and it even comes with a stackable washer and dryer. I take my children every winter and just splurged with an adult getaway last month. My boyfriend fell in love with the property, food, service and most importantly the condo! You can't go wrong renting from these owners!!!!

Incredible location- can't wait to return!

I can't rave enough about your unit and Villa la Estancia! The websites for Villa La Estancia and the photos on vrbo do not do it justice. What an amazing, spacious, beautifully decorated and fully equipped place. Service was first class everywhere at the resort and the option to utilize the resort amenities next door was fantastic. The resort next door had a ton of activities for kids and several more restaurants. We utilized the restaurants but loved that our resort was a bit quieter and felt more upscale. Having this unit right by the pool on the main level was incredibly convenient. This was truly the best of both worlds with a vrbo rental at an upscale resort. Breakfast on our patio with my coffee and the sound of the ocean was wonderful. Your unit had everything imaginable and the whole family enjoyed the body boards! Melba was easy to work with and quick to respond to our requests. Once at the resort the concierge took care of everything else. We look forward to returning someday!

Amazing family vacation.

We stayed at the Villa La Estancia in Feb,2015. the property was exactly what we were looking for, Melba's unit is ground floor about 50' from the pool and maybe 200' from the beach. The Unit itself was immaculate and spacious. We were with our 5 children, so we need the extra room. the kitchen was very well stocked with all amenities and the grocery store was a 5 minute taxi ride. All staff at the property were very nice to deal with. I would recommend this unit/property to anyone looking to have a quiet holiday with friends or family. The property also has a very nice spa and fitness center.

When I made my reservation I already knew the condos we rented were going to be luxurious, but I had no idea the quality difference these units were over the other we had stayed in. My daughters-in-law and I all have an eye for beauty and the decor did not disappoint. We were spoiled from the second we walked into our two bedroom unit. Everything was provided from the kitchen all the way down to sunscreen. But the added bonus came when we laid our heads down to sleep. The linens, bedding and mattresses were of the highest quality and we slept VERY well. On the 5th day of our stay, the girls left and my husband arrived. One DIL returned to California and the other moved to another hotel with our son when he arrived. They were so sorry they had chosen, and paid for, another hotel when they could have stayed with us. :o) With that knowledge beforehand, we had already planned to move from the two bedroom unit to the one bedroom unit and were equally THRILLED! The quality was amazing in that unit as well. I would also like to state how helpful Melba, the owner, was in communicating with me before during and after our trip. She shared my excitement and gave me great encouragement along the way. The rental rate was MORE than reasonable. I cannot recommend these units and Villa La Estancia more. It was a PERFECT 10 days and we WILL be back! We are already planning another trip to bring our sons and daughters-in-law next year.

PERFECT FAMILY VACATION!

The property was everything we hoped for and more! The photos accurately reflected the rental's appearance. The property was clean & perfectly located to the pool & beach. We traveled with two little ones (under age 3) and it was lovely to be able to relax poolside while the kids napped. Melba was incredibly helpful--even researching to find out if our brand of baby food was available at the MegaMart! The resort property was beautiful, immaculately maintained, great food (though we cooked most dinners), and extremely friendly & helpful staff. We hope to make the trip again soon & will certainly recommend this property to all our friends!

Best Yet !!!

We have traveled to Nuevo for years and this was by far the most beautiful accommodation to date. The staff was awesome ,the owners were very friendly and easy to work with. The condo was incredible . Not many places where you walk in and are truly excited and blown away by the size and amenities of this condo. It was very well appointed and the facility was very well manicured and maintained. It is close to shopping and the beach is perfect. Will stay here again when holiday dates come available on my end. If I knew when I could go I would have booked a year in advance!!!

It features a hotel-like lobby with 24 hour concierge service, 24 hour beach security and 24 hour medical care. There is a state of the art workout center which is exclusive to Villa La Estancia and a world class full service spa.
It has a tennis court and is very close to the golf course. We love this place!!!!

Our unit is on the ground floor which gives easy access to the pool (about twenty steps away) and to the beach (about fifty steps away.) It is a 3 bedroom, 4 bathroom unit. It sleeps 8 adults and 2 children. It is custom furnished with comfy furniture, especially the beds. The kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops, and all cooking utensils like home. There is a full size washer and dryer. The rooms are large, the furnishings were imported from the US, and everything that was done was carefully considered for luxury and comfort. We would love for you to experience beachside living at its best!
