Free Bikes!!!Just a 5 minute walk to the beach and easy bike ride to local restaurants and mini golf. This house has beach bikes, beach wagon, towels, a cooler, and beach chairs. Decks off each bedroom, outdoor shower, hammock, outdoor seating , grill, 75 inch TV in living room, TV's in every bedroom, games, coffee bar, selection of teas, in house washer and dryer, bidet, stocked kitchen, very comfortable beds, linens, and essentials. Games for kids, Toys for Kids and a wonderful family vibe. You will love your stay at Dogwood Cottage! South Port is just 10 minutes away and has amazing shopping , great food, and sight seeing! Wilmington is just a 45 minute drive and has wonderful shopping, sightseeing! Take a river boat tour, historic trolley tour, or walking tour. Enjoy all that Oak Island has to offer!

Beautiful beach house that felt so nice and homey! Very kid friendly with extra locks on the doors, high chair etc. took us about 7 mins to walk to the beach with three toddlers. We would absolutely stay here again! Dorothea was wonderful

We had a fabulous stay at the Dogwood Cottage. Dorothea was a wonderful host with great communication. The house was incredibly clean and well appointed. Location was great with easy access to the beach. We absolutely loved our trip and plan to return in the future!

We absolutely loved our stay in this gorgeous house! Everything was so clean and comfortable. So many little touches to make you feel at home. We loved sitting out on the porch enjoying the nice sea breeze. The living room was comfortable and spacious to hang out in the evenings. The kitchen is well appointed and has what you need to cook. It is a very easy walk to the beach and a great location near grocery stores and restaurants. Dorthea is an incredible host and goes above and beyond to make your stay the amazing. We highly recommend this house!

Highly Recommended

This is the best VRBO we have stayed at. The property manager went above and beyond and there was everything we could have needed and wanted in a place to stay. Kids toys and space, a beautiful layed out and decorated house, and plenty of fun options within walking distance.

Beautiful home with everything you could ask for!

The host is awesome and does everything she can to make your stay amazing. The home is beautiful and offers all the amenities you could need! Beautiful, stocked coffee bar area. Lovely location. Clean home. Great water pressure. We will definitely be back!

Hannah and family were amazing guests. They left the place spotless, it was almost as if no one was there. They are definitely welcome back! Do yourself a favor if Hannah requests your place do not hesitate!

This is a good example about customer expectations. The property is old and tired with miminal upkeep. Thus many of the bad reviews, however knowing this from reviews, I valued the quiet but well located aspects. Close to everything extremely spacious interior, private small outdoor smoking coutyard and it is at a very good cost. The host Paul is wonderful and walkable from train station. If you worry about scuffed floors, chipped walls or bad caulking on tub, this is not your place. I however value the basics more.Tips - key in door needs to be pulled out a smidge to work, bed is 2 singles push together, Jumbo grocery is 3 min walk. Bring cd's if you want music (think it works?), well equipped kitchen.
