The house features a huge living room for guests to unwind after a fun day in the lake and a beautiful lake view deck to enjoy your morning coffee while watching the sunrise in the morning . This beautiful home is the perfect size and layout for a large family or group of friends traveling together. The home has everything you need for a nice and quiet weekend or full week getaway from the city. Home is located in a nice, friendly, quiet subdivision south of Livingston and one of the closest areas of Lake Livingston to Houston. From the moment you arrive, you’ll immediately fall in love and be welcomed by a soothing lake breeze, the calming sound of the tranquill lake water, the bright and open interior featuring cozy furnishings, lovely decor, and large windows that flood the home with an abundance of glorious natural light. All the conveniences of home are provided as well including air conditioning, in-unit washer and dryer, updated furniture and appliances, and high-speed wireless internet access for your convenience. After making beautiful memories all day on the lake, head in doors to the comfortable living room, where you can unwind while watching TV on a 55' SMART TV. Once you've worked up an appetite, you'll find the home's modern kitchen fully equipped with everything you need to prepare delicious meals or simply go on the deck and BBQ . The deck will serve as the ideal place to spend nice evenings admiring the lake with all of your family and friends. When you’re ready to call it a night, retreat to one of the inviting bedrooms to rest up for the next memorable day and look forward to waking from the Master suite to enjoy Lake Livingston's beautiful sunrises from your bedroom window or deck. It is at the most southern tip of Lake Livingston in the town of Coldspring, TX with nice restaurants in the small town or head to Livingston a short drive away. Fish, swim, or simply enjoy the peacefullness that the lake has to offer on the dock. (Unfortunately the HOA does not allow use of the boat ramp and there are no watercrafts allowed on the boat lifts on the dock.)

Lake weekend

Jesus was extremely communicative leading up to check in and check out! The property was absolutely gorgeous, it was extremely clean and we had everything we needed to cook for the weekend. We had a blast out by the lake, and would definitely stay here again!

Great family vacation

My family enjoyed everything about our trip this summer. The house was perfect size and setup for us. It was so easy to check in and immediately start having fun. Jesus was attentive and answered any questions I had almost instantly. We will be returning next year!

Perfect lake vacation!

This is an amazing property. It had everything we needed for a week on the lake. Everything is new and very clean. The beds were very comfortable. It has lots of games for indoor fun and water toys for outdoor fun. The view is fantastic. We would definitely stay here again.

New Years Wedding Rest Stop

Welcoming and comfortable home for my family to relax at between wedding site festivities. Everyone got to enjoy a bed, a place to clean up, a spot to prepare meals and not eat out, and we didn’t have to miss out on the lakeside theme of our wedding while away from the site. Great space to stay lakeside, like-home getaway accommodations, and excellent host communication.

Quiet family weekend.

The Lakehouse was beautiful and well maintained. The area was peaceful and quiet. We had a wonderful time on the lake and relaxing in the house. The home owner was very accessible by text and sent me a text with instructions for move in. We loved this place. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

Beautiful house on Lake Livingston

The house was very nice with plenty of room for our group of 7. The view from the porch overlooking the lake was beautiful. We all enjoyed fishing off the large dock and playing in the water on the toys that were available at the house as well. The Tarzan swing on the end of the dock was a big hit with all the kids as well. We will definitely rent this home again.

Annual family vacation

Our two families of 4 came together for a relaxing lake weekend. America’s Lakehouse was perfect. The home was clean and well stocked. The lake toys we had access to we lots of fun. Jesus was easy to talk to and very helpful. Even responded quickly to a suggestion I made. I hope we get the opportunity to stay here again!

Good location, clean, great communication

The main reason we rented this property was due to access to the boat lift for our boat. We prefer not taking the boat out of the water every day and the dock was perfect for this! You are also a short boat ride to the island and the state park (Livingston side). The kids loved the rope swing on the dock and the tree swing. Also the ping pong table was a hit. The house was clean and well furnished we didn’t have to leave for supplies all weekend. Overall our two families stayed comfortably with plenty of room and we enjoyed our vacation. Will definitely return!

Being always around water my entire life I have always dreamed of some day owning my very own house on the lake. As I've grown older I appreciate the calmness of the water on the lake and the tranquil atmostphere the greenery and trees around the lake brings to the soul. I now hopefully can pass this on to my three kids with the world of cell phones and social media to slow things down, turn off the phone and sit in front of the lake to reflect. Grew up in Matamoros, served in the Marine Corps, proud native and Houstonian (La Porte), and Family always first pretty sums up my story. Life is all about creating memories and I hope to also pass this message on to my future guests as well. Come fish, swim in the lake, boat, jetski, wake up early to watch a sunrise, or just loose yourself and go dring a coffee or a beer on the dock. Just enjoy life!

Lakeview Hills is a quiet and secluded neighborhood where everybody waves and is friendly with all of its homeownere and visitors. The city of Coldspring gives you the small town feeling with small businesses and local restaurants and not full of commercial buildings everywhere, although it has all the businesses you need for groceries, gas, and little knick knacks. Close by is the city of Livingston if you wish to visit your local Walmart or Lowes or other restaurants. Coldspring is one of the nearest cities on the lake closest to Houston as it is on the southernest tip of the lake.

We chose America's Lakehouse (Named after my wife America :)) because it is situated right on the lake, the huge backyard for family BBQs, and the closeness it is to our house in Houston as it sits in the Southernest tip of the lake and it is easy to get in and out and close to the 59 FW. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet making every time we stay at America's Lakehouse relaxing and enjoyable. We immediately fell in love with the house!
