The Best

Our family LOVED this home. It is in a beautiful country setting with lots of space to rest and relax. You're not far from the nearest gas station (5 minutes) or grocery store (11 minutes). The home was immaculate and the home owners were very responsive to the few questions we had. If we're ever in North Carolina again we will be staying here.

Weekend Getaway in Hurdle Mills, NC

My friend and I stayed at this adorable house with our dogs for the weekend. We were in the area for a dog show and the location was ideal. The property was very clean and perfect for our weekend. The fenced back yard was great to let the dogs run as we sat on the deck in the evening with a glass of wine. We loved it and will be back!

Comfy little spot to stay

Out in a very beautiful, wooded area of North Carolina. The stay was great. Our only issue was the door handle stuck a bit when first opening our way into the home. Everything was clean and ready for us. We highly recommend!

Clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated with everything we needed for a week-long stay. Setting is quiet and peaceful. Fenced back yard is great for dogs.

The house and property were very clean and well cared for. My granddaughter who lives nearby loved playing on the play set. I would certainly stay here again.

The house is in a private location but with easy access to Hillsborough. It was very comfortable with a great fenced yard for our dog. We will definitely come back!

Beautiful

We were looking for a nice stop on our 2 week road trip. This was perfect with a nice yard where one could sit with a beer or coffee watching the fireflies (our favorite), listening to the birds, and smells of all the surrounding trees and flower. My daughter enjoyed the swing in the front yard, great selfie opportunities
.. House was very clean, had all needed in kitchen and bathroom. Beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room for us 4.

Second stay was as great as the first

This was our second time staying at the private country home. The location is why we like it. The house is on a quiet road with very little traffic. The only thing you have to worry about are the deer. The house is very clean and comfortable.

A slice of heaven

I was working in Roxboro, NC and needed a quiet and comfortable space after work, and the home exceeded all of our expectations. Our dog, Sassy, loved walking on the grounds and lazing in the sun during the day. It was an easy check in process and the host, Kathleen, is responsive and so very nice to talk with if you have any questions or need anything at all during your stay. We would definitely stay again at this quiet, comfortable, and beautiful home the next time we are in North Carolina.

Hurdle Mills Country House

The house was clean and as described. We were in the area for a dog show so the fenced in back yard was great for the dogs to get out and run and play safely. We did have to chain one of the gates (driveway) to keep it closed as the dogs figured out how to open the latch. Katherine was great to work with. The area is beautiful - fields, farms, etc. and even has a rooster for am calls. Would stay again.

Wonderful stay

Our stay at Katherine’s place was exactly what we wanted when looking for a house! We were there to watch my little sister graduate from UNC chapel hill which was just a short 25 minute ride. The property was very clean, well stocked with linens and toiletries(which came in handy when I realized I forgot my shampoo). The back yard was the favorite place for our dog and our children! The neighborhood was so peaceful and quiet, so a great escape away from all the city life in Chapel Hill! Overall we had a wonderful time and Katherine was sweet enough to allow me to text her if any questions came up! If we are ever needed to head back to Chapel Hill I will definitely check this place our first before renting anything else!

We enjoyed the quiet neighbood. The house had all the kitchen basics we needed for a 3 night stay plus comfortable beds. The host was responsive when we ran into an issue with a sticking front doorknob.
