Nestled into the hillside of a historic 170-acre farm in Keswick, Virginia, Stonemont Farm Retreat offers a rare opportunity to experience the beauty and tranquility of the Virginia countryside while staying close to Charlottesville's most popular attractions. Originally part of a land grant belonging to the father of famed explorer Meriwether Lewis, this special property blends history, nature, and modern comfort across two thoughtfully renovated dwellings: The Cottage and The Cabin.

Perfect for families, friends, wedding groups, and retreats, the two homes together comfortably accommodate up to 14 guests with four bedrooms, four beds, and three pull-out sofas. The Cottage features three bedrooms, two bathrooms, two living spaces, two kitchens, and a private pond-side setting with a hot tub, fire pits, grill, and expansive lawn space. The Cabin offers a cozy one-bedroom retreat with a vaulted great room, custom kitchen, queen loft bedroom, clawfoot tub bathroom, private hot tub, fire pit, and peaceful views from its covered front porch.

Outdoor living is at the heart of the Stonemont experience. Guests can gather around the fire pits, relax in two private hot tubs, enjoy the fishing pond at The Cottage, or explore the property's new hiking trail with scenic views of the surrounding landscape. The peaceful gravel roads surrounding the farm are also popular with cyclists and outdoor enthusiasts.

Located in Keswick's Southwest Mountains region, Stonemont Farm Retreat provides easy access to some of Central Virginia's best wineries, cideries, restaurants, and historic sites. Beautiful and peaceful getaway

Really tranquil property just minutes from Keswick Hall and some lovely vineyards.Property was great. We missed that this was actually two properties, a Cabin and a Cottage, but once we figured that out it was great.

Bachelorette getaway

We had a wonderful stay at the Stonemont farm for my friend’s bachelorette weekend. The cottage and cabin were decorated beautifully and very clean. Checking in and out was smooth and simple. We loved that the location was near wineries and also hiking because those were our main reasons for visiting. Overall I would recommend this rental to any large group! We had a wonderful time and the property was beautiful!

Beautiful home!

We really enjoyed our stay at Stonemont! It was a beautiful space for my bridesmaids and I to stay the night before my Keswick wedding. It is in an absolutely beautiful setting that is peaceful and a stunning display of Virginia's beauty. The cottage/cabin bit was a little confusing to figure out, but it's a large home that has plenty of room, blankets, and pillows for large groups. Highly recommend!
