You will be close to everything when you stay at our new charming Butterfield Bungalow. Centrally-located between Indianapolis and Carmel, this 2 bedroom home offers sleeping for up to 6 guests making it the perfect getaway for a variety of families/groups. Enjoy a fully equipped kitchen, watch movies in the cozy, spacious finished basement (with desk), or relax and unwind on the patio around the firepit, all with easy access to the entire city.

This is a ranch style home with 2 bedrooms on the main floor and a finished basement.

Guests are assigned a unique 4 digit code for access to the property for the duration of their stay. The code along with access instructions, are sent to the guest as soon as the booking is confirmed.

The first and best part of our stay was the quiet safe neighborhood. Definitely a better alternative to staying downtown or at a hotel filled with noisy guests.Beds and towels were clean and comfortable. I stayed with my young son, parents, and a friend. We all had plenty of room to sleep. Knowing it was one bathroom, we would plan ahead for who needed to shower.The house itself has character. My son said “the floors talk when we walk.” He was fascinated with the old-school video games. I think he also snuggled up with every throw blanket around the house.Kitchen was fully stocked! My mom was able to make chicken soup and had all the bowls, utensils, etc that she needed to prepare a home-cooked meal.Not to mention, the house has many options for groceries and restaurants within minutes of leaving the driveway.We were so lucky this house was still available for us during ARBA convention at the fairgrounds.

We loved our stay here! The home is clean and the beds are cozy. We didn’t spend too much time at the house because we were out most of the time we were in town, but when we did it felt like home. My four-year-old kept asking when we were “going back to the little house” One thing to note, if you’re trying to take a shower then you’ll want to pull down on the part of the bath faucet where the water comes out! The neighborhood is quiet and is a bit tucked away, so we went for walks around the “loop” with my 2 and 4 year old and said hi to the squirrels and sweet neighborhood cats and bunnies. The neighborhood doesn’t have sidewalks, but it doesn’t have an outlet, so the only cars that come through are the ones that live there. It’s also just a 3 minute drive to Kroger, which was very convenient, and close enough to everything else you might want (food, museums, etc)The hosts were super easy to talk to and responded very quickly to any questions we had. You can definitely tell they care about their home and guests. We would definitely stay again!

Quaint neighborhood

We stayed here for the pre-trial swim Olympic and its a perfect quaint neighbor. It had everything we needed and my boys enjoyed the video games in the basement.

Our Stay at the Bungalow!

My husband, son and I stayed at the Butterfield Bungalow July 11-14. First of all, the communication was SEAMLESS!!! Fast, very friendly and kind responses! The decor was so cute and eclectic, the living room was cozy with a comfy couch and large tv, the kitchen was beautiful and well stocked, a pretty dining area with a large table and chairs, one bedroom with 2 twin beds and the master bedroom with a queen bed---perfect! The bathroom was darling and clean! My teenage son took over the finished basement that had a large tv, old school arcade video games and another comfy couch! It was SO hot and muggy there (like, 100') but the air conditioner in the home was AHMAZING!! (This lady was very happy!! lol) There were also box fans to use in both bedroom closets which we thankfully didn't need, but we did use them for white noise when we went to bed. (It's the little touches that are thought of that can make for such a relaxing, wonderful trip!) There are also lots of shops, restaurants and grocery stores right down the street! There is a breakfast/brunch place a few miles away called YOLK. Highly recommend!!!! Lastly, the bungalow was extremely clean!! That is always #1 on my list of importance. We have walked into VRBO rentals that weren't cleaned properly and it can ruin your trip. No one wants to clean someone else's dirt and nastiness. Especially when you are on vacation and paying for your stay and a cleaning fee. We look forward to coming back! Thank you so much! : )

Just like home

One of our best VRBO stays! We walked right in at instantly felt at home. It reminded me of my childhood house and that nostalgia was very comforting. My sons loved the basement area and video games. The backyard was a great place to make a fire and relax. Clean, well appointed, I would definitely stay there again when we visit the area.

Great spot, as advertised.

This house was perfect for our group of 4 adults. It was clean and in a nice neighborhood that was 1-2 miles away from shopping/food/Target,etc. We enjoyed the outdoor patio and basement game room. Host was very responsive with all of our pre-trip questions. Thank you!
