122 Seaside Lane- Community Pool

 

Do you hear the ocean calling you? Don’t resist it any longer! 122 Seaside Lane will answer that call. You have the best of both worlds at this cottage. The beach is only a short walk down the sandy path that takes you to a stairway over the dune or you can investigate all the little estuaries that lead to the Intercoastal Waterway. Located in the adorable community of Seaside Village, this property is in a small group of 12 homes circling the community pool. Across the 2-lane street is the deeded crosswalk to the beach. There is a community pier that you can walk on, fish from, hang crab traps from or put in your kayak to see our island from the sound side. 

The first-floor covered deck is the perfect spot to start your day with a cup of coffee and wrap up the evening with a glass of wine. As you walk in the door, your first stop is the living room. There is a soft comfy looking couch, chair, and love seat for you to share some time with your traveling companions, watch a movie on the mounted Smart TV, play a game or maybe catch a much-needed nap. Decorated in calming greens, this home will immediately drop your stress level and bring on a tranquil mood. The dining room table seats 6 with 4 stools pulled up to the nearby kitchen bar. The kitchen is equipped to prepare all your vacation favorites: Hot dogs and hamburgers with corn on the cob or maybe try your hand at surfing, cast fishing on the beach or fish from the community pier, or just make it easy on yourself and order in. There is a half bath on this floor for everyone’s convenience. 

Upstairs you’ll find the bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king-sized bed, a smart TV and an ensuite bathroom with a bathtub/ shower. From the master bedroom you have access to a private balcony. The secondary bedroom has a queen-size bed as well as a set of twin bunk beds. The secondary bedroom also has an ensuite bathroom with a bathtub/ shower. The stacked washer and dryer are located on the second floor.  

In the carport area this lovely home has an enclosed outdoor shower with hot and cold running water. How nice it is to be able to wash off the sunblock, sand and salt and change into something comfortable before going upstairs. There is a picnic table in this area, perfect for calling the kids in from the pool or beach, feeding them a little something before setting them free again.

There is an unheated community pool in the center of Seaside Village which is not monitored by a lifeguard. Weather permitting, the pool is open 8am to 7pm, Memorial Day to Labor Day. Depending on how mild the season is the pool may be opened before Memorial Day and may close after Labor Day.

You will only be a 5-minute drive (about 2.5 miles) to the center of Surf City where you will find many privately owned gift shops and restaurants. In Surf City there are unique activities like the Topsail Escape Room and the EMA Touch Tank Aquarium. On the mainland side of Surf City is the well-known Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Rehabilitation Center that gives tours daily.  Just over the high-rise bridge that connects Surf City to the mainland you will find even more shops and restaurants as well as 3grocery stores (Food Lion, Neighborhood Walmart and Publix, within 5 miles away).

122 Seaside Lane in Seaside village is a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom home that sleeps 6.

Enhanced Cleaning: We follow CDC cleaning guidelines and ensure all high touched areas have been wiped down with disinfectant spray.

Guest Access: Keyless Entry. Our properties are individually owned, and our guests will have use of the entire property!

Check out: Is 10:00 AM. We adhere to this policy so please do not arrive early or plan to delay your departure.

Rates Include- Rent, Property Protection Plan and Booking Fee. Absolutely no events. NO Smoking. Pets are not allowed in our complex.

Paper goods and any specialty items are NOT provided and would need to be brought with you or bought once you arrive on the island.

The Area: Topsail is a 28 mile long, barrier island made up of marshes, barrier flats, dunes, and beach. Topsail Beach is home to Jolly Rodgers Pier - once an Observation tower for NASA – now a great fishing spot and the best place to watch sunrises and sea life. The Missiles and More Museum is also another great attraction to visit. North Topsail Beach is 8 miles (13 minutes) from Surf City, it is also 6.4 miles (9 minutes) to Sneads Ferry. North Topsail is home to the Seaview Pier. At the Pier, you can go fishing, watch the ocean from the pier, get some ice cream, order from the restaurant.
