Very quaint, clean and was very pleasant staying there. Everything was great. Except for TV going out the last night. Which was caused by the rain. I would highly recommend you.

nice location

cottage was under construction on outside, but nice inside. Kitchen was not as described and lacked essentials. Smoke alarm goes off from heat, not smoke when oven door opened. Had to call owner for WiFi code. No instructions for TV remote.

Kicked out mid stay

We get to check in and the doors are locked with no instruction to get in. So we call and she runs down to unlock the door. Then informs us that or the 6 days we had booked was only available for 2. Kind of just told us to figure it out and there’s nothing she could do. Didn’t offer a refund until we asked for it. It was a nice place. I just wish we didn’t have to deal with a double booking in the middle of vacation.

I do meet the guest and let them in their place as our office is just around the corner (1 block away). We manage 30 places and was trying to figure out another place. We did contact you and offer you to come and stay for the rest of your stay except one night. You said you made other arrangements. My apologies. We haven't had a double booking all summer.

Changes; broken contract

Compared to our last stay, completely different. You have a beautiful home. That is why we decided to rent from you again. You clearly were not ready for us. It’s nice you had the place painted. You forgot to inform us after we paid. There was NO air conditioning. When you change something in the contract in the future. You have to let the customer know. When I asked to be compensated. You never replied. You broke a contract. It’s was in the 90’s over the weekend. It’s nice you gave us 5 fans. You only had one window with a screen. The conditions in the house were horrible. Not to mention that the grass was a foot high. We had no cable and had to call Spectrum (painter left the cable disconnected.) Had to wait for the maintenance & cable to come. You & your staff were curt and rude. I didn’t appreciate your staff confronting my daughter. Saying I was lying. Then asking when were leaving because you needed your fans back. As I did before. I left your place as I found it. Immaculate!

Thank you for your detailed review. We did hire a contractor to paint and side the cabin. He was available much sooner than expected. This work contributed to the air conditioner being removed, the cable being cut and the missing screens. Had you mentioned the missing screens, we would have handled that, as quickly as, we had the lawn mowed and provided fans for you. We also approved your 2 dogs for your stay. What was not appreciated was to find you, upon our arrival to drop off fans, seeing your vehicle parked by the back door on the lawn over the septic field instead of the parking available at the front or the back of the house. We both had bad experiences during your stay.
