Great Place Near Navajo Lake

Exactly what we needed for our weekend at the lake. The house is great. Space for the boat & trailer too.

I went there to fish and needed a place that was close to where I needed to be and was a good price. The house was modest and in a modest which was fine with me - it had everything I needed inside and was clean. The water had a yellow slight yellow color and odor I guess that’s how it has to be treated out in that rural area. TV was great and had all the apps! Really no complaints so if you’re there to fish it’s a great place for guys to stay- ten minutes from the dam. There is a cool winery right around the corner if you need wine or beer!

Excellent stay

Very close to fishing locations. Private and comfortable. House was filled with everything needed. Host was very accommodating and responsive. Will definitely rebook for future fishing trips.

This house was fine for a fishing trip. Some luggage stands would be nice. The well water smell was pretty strong. The microwave is a mess. Either it doesn't work right, or it needs instructions how to make it work. Beds were good. Quiet neighborhood. Just fine for a 4 day fishing trip. I was not sure if I smelled better or worse after I got out of the shower. The well water smell is pretty strong.

Perfect location.

We had such a great vacation in this house. The view is incredible and it was a easy walk to the river. Oscar was so easy to work with.

Not young kid friendly for outside play—lots of thorns and weeds. Kitchen/pantry not fully equipped. No dish washing detergent or laundry soap. Bath tub did not hold water. Hot water/water had a strong sulfur smell. A/C unit worked great. TVs in all rooms were nice. Place was clean.

Annual fishing trip

Good place overall. Decent location and well stocked Kitchen. The gas stove needs service as only one of four burners would light which was an issue cooking for four people. Also the water supply needs a water softener of some kind. Other than that the home was comfortable. We did run out of propane Although In fairness we did grill a lot.

Looking Forward to Our Next Visit

The house and property were great! The bed in the primary bedroom was comfortable. The house was large and clean. The yard was large and we were impressed by the front and back patio areas. We took our griddle after reading a few reviews but we were able to use the grill on property without issue. I also believe there was a smoker! The close river access is a huge plus (fishing is great). We even met a neighbor who was very nice and talked the home owner up. The lake was just short drive away, and the area is pretty. We will definitely try and stay again!

comfortable but lots of errors

check in went well, after arriving we noticed supplies issues (poorly stocked). half way through our stay we noticed the wi-fi cut out and never came back. the gas barbecue didn’t work, as well as 3 of the stoves not igniting rooms we’re comfortable but the water does have a odor to it.

To list a few issues: no hot tub as stated in listing, jetted bathtub not working. Electric code violations in master bath and kitchen no GFCI protection on any outlets. Door knob fell off ofbathroom

Beautiful Neighborhood Nice House

Everything in the home was perfect and for the exception of the out of control weeds, the outdoor patios were very nice. The only problem I had was that neither grill worked. The outdoor grill did not have any propane and the only store open that late Saturday night did not have any propane to sell. The charcoal grill didn’t get hot at all no matter what we did. Otherwise, it was a great place in a beautiful area.

Property Potential

Contact was quick when I did not receive the check-in information. Driving up to property, we were able to find it quickly. Would have loved to use the outdoor spaces (chair lounges, hammock and grill) but the weeds were incredibly high. We didn't venture out to the front swing either for the same reason. We did appreciate there were enough towels for everyone! We came prepared, just in case. The kitchen leaves ALOT to be desired. For our big group, we went to the local Farmer's Market for pans and groceries. The A/C worked like a champ! Although the floor surrounding a few were slightly sunken. The slow water drainage in the bathroom was concerning but resolved when factoring in use throughout the house. Overall, the property location was key -- we were 20 minutes from Navajo Dam, 20 minutes from the Farmer's Market, and gas. We didn't fish from the nearby locations so I'm not certain if the areas are cleared or not. We did not use any of the tvs but did use the wifi. Nice place for our outing, would consider staying in the future if improvements made in the kitchen (available baking pans) and grounds maintained.
