Our 4 new cabins at Northern Comfort reflect the same level of comfort and care as the main lodge but in a cozier package!

Each of our brand new efficiently cabins offer 680 square feet of living space including 2 bedrooms, 1 full bath and a kitchenette. For your creature comforts, there is fantastic wifi, smart TV with roku subscription, and a mini split heating/cooling unit in each cabin, With temperature controls in each room.

All of our cabins are located right on the preferred ORV/SNOWMOBILE route, ride right from your door and there is plenty of room for trailer parking up front.

Many lakes near by, fishing pier right down the street, atv trails everywhere, 1000's of acres of state land

There are 4 2-bedroom cabins at this location. Cabins are clean and well supplied. Nice fire pit between each set of two cabins and dry firewood you can purchase on site. Nice quiet wooded lot with plenty of outdoor seating. A short drive to Gaylord to view elk.Will definitely book again for next year.

4th of July Family Celebration

We use this location as an overflow from property that I own in Atlanta, Michigan for the 4th of July weekend. We rented all 4 units July, 2024 and will continue to book from here on out. The cabins are beautifully decorated with quality Amish furniture, extremely clean, and the host was helpful with allowing early check in so that when my family arrived, they were able to go straight to the cabins and get unpacked and join our family celebration right down the street. Everyone loved the cabins, and I will book in the winter when my house closes. Thank you, Robert, we had a great stay!

Cabins & location was great. Trail is located right down the road & town right around the corner had everything we needed. Our group had all 4 cabins rented with ages from 1-45.

Peace & quiet with all the trimmings!

Our cabin was tucked nicely into the lil lane. Lots of parking room and sweet sounds all around. We had recieved an email so we knew all we needed to get into our cabin #3 when we finished our 7 hour drive up to the town. Pleasantly surprised with the adorable cabin inside. It had everything we needed. We had rented a boat so hubby could fish, then decided on a side by side for a Saturday ride around Atlanta and lakes. Robert was very helpful and Nick got everything to us. Nick was helpful about surrounding areas and very nice to talk with. All in all...we had a perfectly peaceful easy 4 days thanks to you all. We definitely will be back and will tell folks about our time there!!

Fall getaway

Wonderful little cabin! Very clean! Loved the decor in the cabin. Very quiet and got to talk to neighbors who were from Canada, doing four wheeling. Hard to figure out Roku TV system, but it didn't matter as we were busy traveling around to all the lakes and enjoying fall colors. Loved the little town of Atlanta! Everyone we met was so friendly. Highly recommend! We will be back!!

Anniversary getaway

We were pleasantly surprised and very happy with our Northern Comfort cabin. The cabin smelled of the knotty pine, and it was clean as a whistle! I cooked all of our meals for the long weekend, and found the kitchen to be nicely equipped for the two of us. There is a nice grill, firepit, picnic table...and he has wood you can buy too! The only tool I didn't find was a potato masher, so we had baked potatoes instead. The beds were comfortable, even though not overly firm! I loved ours! I slept like a rock! The peace and quiet was only occasionally interupted by the roar of the ORVs in the area. Just folks having fun. What else can I say? "For a cabin in the woods, Northern Comfort has everything you need and just the way you like it too!" Husband tested and wife approved!! Thanks Rob! We will see you again.

Wonderful!

Very nice, clean and modern! Comfortable and cozy, perfect for an evening of unwinding and relaxation as thats what we used it for. If we go back to that area, this place will definitely be our first choice for lodging!
