Nestled between the Blue Ridge Pkwy and Black Mtns, Casa Rosa sits on 8 acres conveniently located near artist studios, hiking and biking trails, waterfalls and world-class fishing. Enjoy our woods, mountain views, an outdoor gazebo, a full kitchen and reliable wifi - all just 15 minutes from Burnsville. Time it right and enjoy the rare Blue Ghost fireflies in the yard!
The space
Casa Rosa has a southwestern vibe, right smack in the middle of the Appalachians! It was built by a local artist using sustainable materials and innovative design and is filled with special touches like curved stucco walls, Spanish-tiled floors, hand-built windows and doors and even an enclosed wildflower grotto off the bathroom!

The house has a full kitchen with dining table, living room, two bedrooms and a bath. The master bedroom features a luxurious king bed with a memory foam mattress. You will find ample storage space in the closets, and you can step out to its small back deck to take in the fresh mountain air. The second bedroom features two twin beds which can be configured in a number of ways and can be converted to a short king bed if desired. It has a large walk-in closet and also opens out to the back deck.

The partially-covered front porch offers an inviting place to relax and enjoy the stunning natural surroundings. You can also savor a delightful outdoor meal in our gazebo, which features a wood-fired pizza oven. For your entertainment, we have provided a TV with streaming service and dedicated Wi-Fi. Cool and delicious water comes directly from a natural spring on our land.

Guests have the entire house to themselves.
Other things to note
All rooms are on one level, with parking area on the same level. Perfect for those with limited mobility. Laundry and the outdoor "Pizza Hut" are down a flight of outside stairs.

We have a wood burning stove for chilly nights or mornings for those experienced in heating with wood who have been pre-approved snd signed a waiver.
