Ranch House

Relax away from the city lights. This place sits in the middle of a 566 acre ranch with a 25 acre lake just a short walking distance from the house. The lake was just rebuilt in 2022 so the fish aren’t trophies yet but you can catch catfish, bluegill and small bass. Sit and watch the deer and other wildlife from the porches, cook out on the back porch with the family, go for a nature walk or enjoy a nice fire from the living room or screened in porch fireplaces.

We were looking for a peaceful, no crowds, week long get away. This place fit the bill to a T. Nice roomy house with everything you need. A fantastic view of the backyards woods from the kitchen/den. All the appliances were top of the line and worked flawlessly. We enjoy pond fishing and all though the weather was, well TX weather, we still caught several 2-3 pound bass and catfish. The host was very communicative throughout our stay with any little questions we had. Five Plus Stars!

This is a beautiful and spacious home on secluded property! Definitely will be coming back. It also has a great walking trail around the property Close to Canton if you love shopping.

Smooth check in and beautiful country home. Love the snack station upon check in and the woods leading to the lake. Beds comfy and the cold ac make this a 5 star experience

This is a beautiful, comfortable, and well-appointed home. It was a great place for our family to stay over a weekend and the host was very accommodating and left treats out for our kids, which was a nice touch!

Home away from home

We were there for a work trip and will definitely come back again next year. Home had everything you needed with a little extra. Host was very informative and made the entire process easy.

Perfect for fishing fork!

Property and house was absolutely amazing! Very big and clean! Secluded and great neighborhood! Didn't have to worry about the boats! Communicating with the owner was a breeze and they took care of us without hesitation! House is about a 9 minute drive to lake fork, which was perfect with multiple gas stations and tackle stores on the way! Absolutely perfect stay for a week fishing fork! Will definitely be back! 5 stay! 5 House!

What an amazing and quiet location! Perfect place after a long day in Canton. Host is amazing- great communication and even bought a couple kitchen items for us when asked if they had the items on hand! 10 ⭐

Great family place!!!

My sister and I brought out 3 boys ages 12,14 and 15. Beautiful house, great hosts, great pond and walking/running trail. Welcome snack basket was a favorite for the kids and so were Salt and Pepper, the pigs :-) We would love to stay there again.

Hated to leave

My kids and I stayed here for a little over a month while our house was being remodeled. The house is big and beautiful, with everything you might need for your stay. The location was by far the best part. Quiet, private, peaceful, wildlife, a lake, plenty of room for the kids to run around and play. The owners are so sweet and kind. We would definitely stay there again.

Restful Stay

We enjoyed the privacy the house allowed. It sits way off the main highway, in a beautiful area. Upon arrival there was a huge basket of snacks and goodies to enjoy. It was super clean and we all had room to spread out. Every bedroom had its own tv, which was very nice for our family of 5 to be able to relax and rest. Another perk was that our fur babies were able to enjoy it as well. I don’t even have the words to say how kind our host was. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful, relaxing respite from the world.

Great place to stay

Everything was wonderful except mattress in master bedroom had issues. Slats would fall out and mattress felt like your feet were higher than your head but other than that it was beyond what we expected. A lot of thoughtfulness went into preparing for visitors. And communication was excellent. We would definitely stay there again.

Hidden gem

Cute house out in the country! We were in town just a day and this house was perfect. If you are looking for a clean and quiet place this is it.
