The place was perfect for a staycation with family. Very clean, multiple spaces to hang out including the awesome covered patio. Ample kitchen supplies. We had a great time.

This is the perfect house for a family gathering. Lots of room inside and out. I loved your outside with the yard, fire pit, basketball court and darts. The kids loved it. I would definitely rent this house again! Easy parking, lots of amenities close by. 10/10.

This was a great fit for our family Christmas celebration, this is our second time staying there. The high staircase was fun for our almost 2 year old grandson, and the lego toys in the spare room closet kept him entertained. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and dishware. Clean kitchen, and nice to have a hotpot for boiling water. Thank you to the host for such a lovely experience.

The house was the right size for us and we were able to get around Sacramento as we needed. We cooked some meals and the kitchen had all that we needed.

This home was perfect for our family reunion in Sacramento. It was close to downtown and family living in the area. Our kids loved the big back yard to play in. Daniel was very responsive to our requests. Would definitely stay here again.

I had a private gathering with friends and family, and the location was nice, but I did not expect that playing music in the back yard (at an extremely reasonable volume) would upset the neighbors. I got a notification from the owner with threats to call the police etc. This made us very uncomfortable and we felt like we were doing something wrong when we were not. Simply existing with music for enjoyment. It was in no way a party. The dogs barking in the yard behind the house were way louder than the music was. I don’t think it’s an issue with the owner. I think it’s an issue with a disgruntled neighbor. It’s great if you plan to stay inside and be totally quiet. But if you want to actually use the back yard, and god forbid you play music, be ready for accusations and threats.

I want to clarify that there were no threats made—only a message to let you know that music was being heard after quiet hours. The neighborhood is very peaceful and residential, and we do our best to respect the surrounding neighbors while still allowing guests to enjoy the property. When we receive a concern, we’re obligated to communicate it so it doesn’t escalate into an official complaint. We completely understand wanting to relax outside and enjoy music, and that’s absolutely welcome during appropriate hours. The message was simply meant as a courtesy and a reminder of local noise expectations, not an accusation or assumption of a party. We appreciate you staying with us and sharing your experience. Our goal is always for guests to feel comfortable while also maintaining a positive relationship with the neighborhood for everyone’s benefit.

DO NOT BOOK FOR AN EVENT!!! The host approved a small birthday party with the condition of a refundable deposit. Took 22 days to return the deposit and ignored several messages. They only gave about 1/3 back. Promised to give the rest back but has ignored my messages. I now have to take legal action for a deposit in the thousand range.The house was in great condition and folks loved it! Accommodations were comfortable and roomy but the host is NOT trustworthy. Be careful out there folks!

Regarding the deposit, we always aim to return deposits as quickly as possible. In this case, a portion was withheld due to the property being left unclean and with some damage after the event, which required us to hire additional cleaning help and complete extra work to restore the home to its original condition for the next guests. The partial amount returned reflected only those added costs. We strive to be fair, transparent, and respectful in every situation, and we’re always open to continuing the conversation directly to resolve any remaining concerns. Our goal is to provide a great experience for guests while also maintaining the home to a high standard for everyone who stays.

Great home for trip to Sacramento

Property was as described. Plenty of fun activities to do (axe throwing in the backyard was a lot of fun). Plenty of space for the 5 adults in our group. Great location, nice neighborhood, convenient and easy to access downtown.

Perfect Family Gathering

In town for a wedding, by large family of 8 loved this house. Plenty of space for everyone and great for hosting our extended family for a backyard bbq. House is kept up nicely and owner is wonderful and responsive. Highly recommend

Overall, my stay was pleasant. The house looks exactly like the photos. It's spacious and has a large backyard, which worked well for our needs.I rented the home for a bday dinner/gathering with about 30 guests, which was disclosed and approved. The host was aware of the guest count, so I expected a reasonable level of noise (no screaming or anything excessive) would be understood w. a group that size. I paid event fees and a refundable deposit.On Fri, 4 of us were decorating when a few balloons popped, which led to a neighbor complaint. The host messaged me the next morning and warned about possible eviction and loss of deposit. The message was professional, but made me anxious going into the event. During the event we were mindful of noise, though a few ppl were outside slightly past quiet hours (11pm) before moving inside. No outdoor music or speakers were playing.On Sunday morning, we cleaned and followed checkout rules and left a day early. About a week later, I was told the deposit would be kept due to noise complaints from both nights. While I understand, it felt difficult to host an approved event of this size without some level of noise.Notes: Garage was inaccessible; master bedroom door doesn't stay shut.Final Takeaway: Great home, but better for daytime events — neighbors are very sensitive to noise regardless of prior approval.I'm still grateful the event was successful and we didn't get evicted. Graduation

We had to find somewhere close to our daughter’s graduation venue. My daughter graduated with her Masters. We found this spot, it was perfect for our family. House was pretty much as described. If we are ever needing a place in this area, we will definitely look up this place again.

Thanksgiving plus Bday Event

This house was the perfect size and very clean, close to shopping and just the right size to have a small Thanksgiving Holiday and my grandsons 1st Bday. I would recommend and will probably stay here next year.

Nice Family Stay

We were in town visiting family and this place was perfect for my all ages crew. Lots of sleeping space for my large family. A beautiful kitchen and backyard for having our family over for dinner and games. I’d recommend it to anyone (though if you have a young mobile baby, I’d plan for baby gates on the stairs. My toddler didn’t have any problem, she just turned 2 but younger ones might need the barrier). Couches were comfortable and the beds as well. Lots of games for us to play and a stash of toys in an upstairs closet, always a fun surprise. Thanks for helping us have a good visit!
