The Playground provides an elevated vacation experience that is unmatched in this area. Located just 1.5 miles from one of the southeast’s most scenic lakes- Carter’s Lake and only minutes from some of Ellijay’s most beautiful vineyards, apple houses, and less than a 20 minute drive from downtown Ellijay. The home is also conveniently located just 1.5 hours north of Atlanta and 1.5 hours south of Chattanooga. This location is simply- prime!

INSIDE:
This home was custom-built with so much love and attention to detail. You will enter the home on the main level. Walking in your eyes are immediately drawn to the large windows overlooking the woods and creek. We have an open concept kitchen and dining area. The kitchen is stocked with everything you will need to cook and enjoy a meal on the large dining table (seats 10). A unique, double sided gas fireplace separates the area entering the living space which is complete with balcony access, gas grill, and smart tv. Bedroom 1 is located on the main floor which boasts private balcony and bathroom with walk in shower and walk-in closet.
There is also a half bath on the main level.
Downstairs you will love the common area to lounge, watch some TV, or play games which includes air hockey, arcade games, and board games. The downstairs modular couch can convert into a bed to accommodate 2 guests (perfect for kids). We also have a laundry room with washer and dryer. Bedroom 2 features a private balcony and en suite bathroom with walk in shower. Bedroom 3 boasts a private balcony and shared bathroom with walk-in shower.

OUTSIDE:
Upon pulling up to the house you’ll immediately notice the unique design elements incorporated that were inspired by the naturally beautiful surroundings-hand stacked stone, woods, metal-coming together to form something amazing. We want our guests to feel immersed in the setting that makes Ellijay so special.

Guests are free to explore the large property surrounding the home which includes private access to Harris Creek! The only other home in site is our creeksdie tiny home, “The Treehouse.” Also available to rent or add on. Once finished taking in all that the creek has to offer, enjoy time around the fire pit or grilling out on the balcony overlooking the dense forest.
