on the Ellijay River only a half mile
from downtown Ellijay. This 2000
sqft. beautiful 3 bedroom, 2.5
bath cabin features expansive
outdoor spaces, a hot tub,
outdoor wet bar, 3 fire places,
large yard, and firepit sitting area
right on the river. Downtown
Ellijay with all its boutiques and
restaurants is a less than 5 minute
drive. Kids will love the arcade,
board games, and corn hole.

It's a very nice place. Really everything was perfect and it's a very short drive everything we wanted to do. The bed is comfortable. The water is hot. The hot tub is awesome. The fireplaces are great. The kitchen has everything. Lots of outdoor living areas.

Beautiful house in a great location. Plenty of room for six adults. Enjoyed the downstairs outdoor area with the fireplace and tv. Kitchen was well equipped.

Great house and location. Owners were great to communicate with and very accommodating . The house is very close to downtown Elijay, but you still get the country feel to the location. Great for families and relaxing. The neighbors were extremely friendly also. Do not hesitate to rent this place. The vacation was A all around.

Super clean, nicely furnished and best stocked home we’ve ever stayed at! Brian was easy to reach and very responsive! You know the owners truly care about this home the minute you walk in! Would stay again if we visit Elijay in the future. Very close to historic downtown!

Ellijay Getaway

Great midsummer getaway for a small town Fourth of July. House is lovely although we wished it was a little closer to the river. Huge backyard great for families. Lots to do in Ellijay - don’t miss Cress Creek Farm, tubing on the Catecay, BJ Reece Cider House, and hiking Blackberry Mountain!

Heaven on a river

Cabin and property was more than expected. The cabin had everything you needed and then some. Location was great as it’s just outside of town but close to everything. The river in the backyard was great to sit in and do some fishing. It was very relaxing. The communication with the owners was next level. Brian was there for any questions I had. I will be telling my friends about this cabin and we will be back. Close to tubing and about 35 minutes away from rafting the Ocoee River.Thank you!!!Joe and Kelie

Gem iin LIJ

My wife and our two children. (12 and 4) spent 5 days in this stunning house. It is perfectly located 2 minutes from downtown but still feels secluded. The hosts are top notch and were amazing to work with. The house was incredibly comfortable with much attention detail. It is obviouls the hosts are committed to their guests and take great care in providing fantastic amenities. I would highly recommend this property.

We enjoyed our time in Ellijay! the riverfront home was great!! clean and lots of amenities and also close to town. The hot tub and outdoor kitchen was an added bonus. Will rent again.

Family Time

Had a great time with our kids. Was nice to put the screens down and have some quality time together. Ellijay is great tons of outdoor adventures, and good food. House location is stellar and the River in backyard was our happy place. We caught a fish back there wasn’t expecting that. Yard big enough to play sports.

Summer Getaway

The traveling sports activities have stopped for the summer break, so we wanted to go to North Georgia for ours. This is a nice house and is well equipped. The location is great and the river is excellent. Our friends were very impressed with house and its setting. Overall, a good time was had!

Great Stay!

Beautiful modern cabin with all of the luxuries, fun fire pit, and great outdoor entertainment areas! Super cute property. River was nice too! the only thing I would add is a privacy fence or a long row of trees to divide this getaway from the neighbors:) Overall it was a wonderful stay!

Excellent Location

We had a great time staying here! The location was perfect as you did not have to drive far at all to get into town. The home was very nice and had everything we needed. The river and fire pit nearby were great for our family. We will be staying here again!

Perfect Getaway!

The property has a HUGE backyard, for activities. We made use of the firepit a couple nights, and one of our friends went fly fishing in the creek! The house was very clean and stocked with anything you needed. We ended up cooking and grilling every night at the house instead of eating out, because it just felt like home! It was in a perfect location, close to everything including one of the most beautiful falls we have ever seen! Make sure you visit Amicalola Falls! Loved everything about our getaway. We will definitely be coming back!

Even better than the pictures!

We stayed at this property for 3 nights and wished we had booked it longer!. We wanted a place we would not all be on top of each other crammed in..we wanted our kids to be entertained while adults visited. This was accomplished quite nicely!..Plenty of places to spread out to eat a meal, and entertain. Decor is wonderful with calming paint color choices and artwork we all quite enjoyed. Indoor and Outdoor spaces flow together on seating and entertainment. Fire pit out by the river was very relaxing. Very accommodating check in and check out process. Very close to shopping and restaurants. Owners have created their own webpage to refer to if you have any questions during your stay. We referred to it many times and found it very helpful. We are already starting to put together our next trip so we can get it booked! Excited to come back to this property!

Were looking for a beach house but stumbled on this new mountain modern cabin in the City of Ellijay. We fell in love with the cabin and the City of Ellijay. The people are so nice. Brian is an Engineer and Stefanie a medical provider, so attention to detail is part of our fabric. When you first walk into the cabin you will see that immediately!

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

There is no other cabin that offers what the Ellijay River Retreat offers! New Mountain Modern Cabin quietly nestled on the Ellijay River within the city limits of the City of Ellijay, literally walking distance from downtown. (We don't recommend walking since the cabin is on curvy road with no margin). This cabin is not in a neighborhood and you will not see tubers and kayakers going by all day long. There is a huge grass field between the house and the river for kids to run and play. High speed internet for streaming movies or working on the internet. A local photographer that takes listing photographs of hundreds of local cabins, said it was one of the most beautiful cabins he has ever seen. Everything in this house is top of the line. The kitchen is has everything you could possibly need. There are 2 full sized refrigerators, one on each floor. The 6 person premium hot tub always has new water and amazing lights and sound system. You will not find a cleaner cabin!

If you like Blue Ridge, you will love Ellijay, it is the best of Blue Ridge without all the traffic and crowds! There is so much to do in and around Ellijay, we have been going there for over a year and barely scratch the surface. We never go to Blue Ridge anymore. Favorite activities, river tubing, shopping, and visiting the many vineyards. Shops and Restaurants in Ellijay are 2nd to none. Everything you could possibly want to do is within a few minutes of this cabin.
