Blackberry Ridge Cabin est une cabane en rondins de luxe situĂ©e dans une communautĂ© fermĂ©e Ă  quelques minutes de l'autoroute 74. Il est Ă©galement Ă  10 minutes du casino de Harrah, des promenades en hĂ©licoptĂšre, de la rĂ©servation Cherokee, des magasins, des riviĂšres, de la pĂȘche et du zoo / parc d'attractions pour les enfants. Warm, inviting, quiet, peaceful, breathtaking views. The simplicity and minimalist decor made our stay stress-free. Location was perfect to all the places we wanted go. It was so cleanThe vintage pool table downstairs was awesome.

We enjoyed the cabin, but because we were enjoying the outside so much we didn't get as much time to hang. The cabin was perfect for our group. We were in Cherokee for a fishing tournament raising money for cancer, so were on the river and in town a lot. Didn't get to enjoy the cabin as much as we hoped. The smoke detectors did start to beep the last night - so please check those.

The cabin was great getting there was an issue the direction could be worded differently to explain how to get to the cabin. The cleaning crew didn't leave any outside lights on and it was dark when we got there so we drove past the cabin twice thinking that it was the first cabin. No lights on the stairs and my elderly mom had a hard time with the stairs with no lights. No wifi which was a boomer we didn't have a hot spot so we couldn't get any messages out until we went down the mountain. Wish that there had been screens on the windows so we could have enjoyed the cool night air. We slept great and the andmintaties was good also. We have been taking this trip for 9 years for our anniversary and we hope to come back next year

The cabin is located centrally to many activities we enjoy. It made an excellent base to explore the area. Super friendly neighbors just up the road.Our host responded to questions promptly.

Great - just as advertised

We enjoyed our stay! The cabin is in a gated neighborhood where the cabins are spread out, not right next to one another. The view was pretty and the cabin was clean. The drive to either Bryson City or Cherokee was not far (maybe 10-20 minutes either way) so it's a great location.

The house was very clean beds were comfy and the view was wonderful. We really enjoyed the pool table each night. There is only one working television and no wifi, which I didn’t realize until we arrived. Cell service is not good in that location, so the kids were a bit frustrated but they will survive. There’s a couch and a futon in the living room, but the futon cushion is worn out making it very uncomfortable. The kitchen isn’t super well stocked, but it was sufficient. It’s definitely an interesting drive to the cabin, but it wasn’t very difficult, we did fine in my husband’s large pickup. I think I read a review saying the windows were dirty. They are not dirty, the seals on some of them were broken and condensation had collected between the panes, not much to be done about that without replacing them. Overall we had a great stay, it was comfortable and a great location!

Great Getaway

Awesome stay, great views. House was clean and secluded. The drive up the mountain was an adventure in itself. Wasn't as bad as it seemed though. Will DEFINITELY be back!

Great location but home needs a little TLC

The views and neighborhood are beautiful. The drive is steep but doable and should not deter you.Although, the home has basic acceptable accommodations, but generally needs some updates. During our stay, the dish washer did not working, the fireplace did not have gas, and there was piles of dead wasps that clearly accumulated over a decent amount of time that should have been swept. There was also a broken glass that ended up cutting someone pretty bad. There was also a broken door to the deck that although there was a sign to not use, I feel should have been fixed. For one thing I wouldn’t write a review, but there was a lot of little things that i would expect the owner to take more care of

Weekend trip

We went up to the mountains for a weekend trip. I was expecting the house to be very clean, but it was not. I expected to have a really relaxing weekend but instead, it was a stressful weekend. I walked into a house with a huge wasp and ladybug infestation. The whole weekend I had to worry about my two children getting stung by wasps the whole time. I do not recommend going to this house because it seemed like the owners did not really care about the cleanliness, it was not cleaned very well prior, or that there was wasps. I had to call them a few times and email them l just to get an exterminator out to the house. After the exterminator came, then we had to deal with cleaning up all of the carcasses of the dead wasps and ladybugs all weekend. They were everywhere. Including our bed! Once again, we were not pleased at all. I would not recommend this cabin sadly.

Heaven On Earth

We have stayed at this house multiple times, and each time we do, it’s better than before!!! We actually live in a cabin (in another state) and it’s hard to find a cabin that we LOVE. And this cabin, is PERFECT! It’s has everything you need for a short or long term stay. (It could use a little more cookware, but we managed just fine with what they have) The pool table is GREAT to have for family nights! The cabin is very welcoming and cozy! I have seen reviews about this cabin and the “bugs/bees” getting inside, but that don’t bother us because we’re used to it. You will see a few bugs in any house that’s in the woods (especially a cabin) but it’s really not a big deal. This place is BEAUTIFUL and has the BEST VIEWS from every room in the house!!! This is literally our “HOME AWAY FROM HOME” :) The owners are great and was quick to get back with us when we had any questions. All & All, we had an AMAZING time at this place!!! We will MOST DEFINITELY BE BACK!!!
