Location, location, location! This beautifully remodeled 5-bedroom, 3-bath home is decorated with lake and beach vibes. You are just a short 2-block walk to South Beach, 4 blocks to Kid's Corner, and an 8–10 minute stroll to South Haven's vibrant restaurants, shopping, pier, and municipal marina.

Spacious Bedrooms & Bathrooms:
• Main Floor: 1 King Bedroom next to a full bath (bathtub/shower combo)—perfect for guests preferring to avoid stairs.

• Second Floor:
- 1 King Bedroom with a dedicated workspace and monitor.
- 2 Queen Bedrooms.
- 1 Bunk Room with 2 bunk beds (sleeps 4 total, plus a Smart TV).
- 2 Full Bathrooms (one with a bathtub/shower combo, one with a walk-in shower).

Living & Dining:
• Kitchen: Fully stocked for all your cooking and baking needs, bar seating for 5, and a fully stocked coffee bar.
• Dining Room: Large table seating 10, plus 2 folding chairs to comfortably accommodate 12.

Our stay was great! It’s a beautiful house in a great location just a short walk to downtown and the beach. The house was loaded with activities for kids on slow or rainy days including golfing, board games, foosball, arcade games, etc. The included bikes, beach chairs, wagon, and towels make traveling easier with less stuff to pack. House was clean and well stocked. Would definitely stay again and recommend!

The description and photos of this home are as accurate as any I've seen. It is comfortable, well appointed, and sparkling clean. The hosts provided clear and timely access instructions, responded quickly to questions, and graciously adapted when our arrival date needed to change. Highlights for our group included access to a golf cart for zipping around, super-comfy seating in the living room, plenty of seating on the front porch and deck, bathrooms with enough surface area to store personal items, and a nice coffee set-up in the kitchen. Would definitely book again without hesitation.

We had the absolute best time at Kathy’s place in South Haven. We were just a few short blocks from the beach, definitely walkable, a few short blocks from town and we had access to a golf cart with a beach parking pass!! Both north and south beach are exceptional, lots of sand and fairly shallow water for little people. All in all, we could not have hoped for a better place to stay!!!

We had the best mother/daughter trip with friends and stayed at this beautiful VRBO for 3 nights. The location was perfect. The golf cart was a nice perk. The communication with the owner was amazing. Wish we had more time to explore this adorable town. Kathy was extremely prompt in answering all of our questions. The home was perfect for our group and offered a great layout for relaxing inside and out. One of my favorite houses in 8 summers of vacationing in South Haven. The house had lots of little extras that I’ve not seen in other rentals. Perfect location. Plenty of space. The hosts were wonderful to work with…definitely recommend!

Family Vacay in South Haven

My family and I stayed in the lovely Golden Sunray. A spacious home and the host Kathy had so much information for us on things to do and see. She was very gracious when I had questions. Also snacks and wine greeted us.

Amazing Home

We really enjoyed our stay here. The inside of the house is beautiful and it looks brand new with modern finishes throughout. The five bedrooms and three bathrooms are all big and beautifully decorated. It was nice to have three bathrooms with showers for our big family. We enjoyed hanging out together in the living room, and making meals in the fully stocked kitchen. The location of the house couldn’t be better- a short walk to the beach and a short walk to downtown. We spent a day downtown ice skating, shopping at the small stores, and even did a yoga class at Cafe Julia. The hosts were welcoming and easy to communicate with. We will definitely be back!

Cozy and wonderful

This property has everything you would be looking for. The location is a 5 min walk to the beach as well as downtown. The house is extremely clean and well kept. They have put a lot of thought into the amenities that they furnished.

Perfect Beach Getaway

The Golden Sunray was the perfect house for our two families of 4. It was spacious, clean, homey and had everything we needed(kids stuff included), plus more. The beach and downtown area were just a short walk away and the hosts Charlie and Kathy were extremely accommodating. We had a great time, and couldn't be more thankful to have found this gem. We will be back!

Perfect rental

What a lovely South Haven home! Location was easy walk to beach and town . Home had everything we needed and was beautifully decorated. The outdoor space and outdoor games allowed us to gather as a family to eat and hang out very easily . Kathy was patient with my many questions and responded quickly. We would definitely rent again!

Very pretty and updated property, The owner was extremely responsive. I asked if there were any roasting sticks, there were not, but got delivered in a few hours. A lot to do at the property- putting green, fire pit, video games, board & card games, a lovely front porch with ceiling fans & nice back deck with seating for 10 or more. The golf cart was a big hit with us and our grandkids! Short walk or golf cart ride to town & beach An overall great place to stay!

We are the Cruz family of four, and our vacation home hosting journey began in beautiful South Haven, MI in 2023. Charlie enjoys home improvement projects and ensuring the homes are in tip-top shape. Kathy loves decorating and hosting to make every guest feel special and welcomed from the moment they walk in. Having vacation rental properties in South Haven is a perfect way to blend our hobbies in a city we also love to visit! We’ve also gotten our two kids involved and have enjoyed family time together creating two vacation homes to share with our guests. There is always some work to do when we visit the houses, but we also love our time together enjoying all the amenities of each home and all that South Haven has to offer. So much blood, sweat, tears, pride, and joy have gone into our two homes, Golden Sunray (blue) and Cardinal Cove (red) and we hope to share them with you and your family and friends. We love the location of both our homes because they are close and easily walkable to South Beach on Lake Michigan, and downtown South Haven with all the delicious restaurants, fun shops, and wine tasting rooms. They are both older homes so they have a lot of unique charm, but with all the modern comforts and necessities for an easy and relaxing stay. It’s been a joy to decorate them both in a relaxing beach theme with fun colors and decor.

We pride ourselves in top notch guest service to make your stay as perfect as possible and we try to make each guest feel special and welcomed! As for the homes, what sets us apart at Golden Sunray (blue house) is the location and 3-hole putting green in the back yard! For Cardinal Cove (red house) it’s the awesome game room, huge yard, and hot tub! And, we love the beach vacation vibe you feel the minute you enter each home!
