Very spacious and lovely house with plenty of room for our family of 8.The location is great, easy walk to beach and town, very quiet street.Also large yard, the fire pit and grill were wonderful to have. There is a play structure for kiddos as well.

What a wonderful home! All 12 of us fit so comfortably and the house was equipped with everything you can think of. We loved our stay here and made memories to last a lifetime. This home comes highly recommended by all of us.

Great place for families!

The house was in good shape and the location was great. Walkable to all the downtown stuff and a short ride to the beach. The house was perfect for a big family group with lots of separate play areas and a huge kitchen. The host was super responsive - will be back!

Lovely location and house

We used the house for a family vacation. It was the perfect house. Clean and close to everything. The toy room was such a blessing with a 15 month old. We had an amazing time.

Good for family with small kids

This house is good for families with young kids. The owner provided many items for families with kids such as a swing set in the back yard, strollers, and video games.

Excellent Getaway

The home was exactly what we needed for a family vacation. It is within walking distance to downtown and the beach, which we did on multiple occasions. The neighborhood was peaceful and the provided baby items certainly helped lighten the load while packing. Highly recommend!

July 4th Family stay

Our family was so pleased with this house and the extra touches the owner put in to making our stay amazing! We were a large group but everyone had plenty of space. The kids played outside nonstop and were all sad to leave. Thank you so much for hosting us and letting us stay in your beautiful home!

Michigan vacation

We loved the SOHA house and yard! Our grandkids played in the entire third floor dedicated to kids and in the swings/play area outside. We loved sitting in several spots both inside and outside. I especially enjoyed seeing the enormous Catalpa tree from my bedroom window. I highly recommend this house for a three generation family vacation.

Great, versatile house

So happy with our stay. Great communication with the manager who quickly answered our few questions in a super friendly manner. Worked great for our group of mainly adults and teenager. We didn't have young kids this time, but the house is set up near ideally for children (3rd floor playroom, playset out back near chairs to keep an eye, ...). So, really, good for just about any age group(s).

Great for families

Great open kitchen/dining layout. Having a main floor bedroom was important for us because we had some older family members with mobility issues. Selling point was the large backyard with great play set for the kids- you can sit in the kitchen area and watch them play. We love this neighborhood- very quiet but walkable to the Farmer's Market and shops. The new home owner was very pleasant and responsive. We would definitely stay again!

Had a couple maintenance issues that could have been detrimental to our stay but Brandy and Chen were absolutely awesome and got everything taken care of to ensure we had a comfortable stay. Great house with a lot of space. Must stay for groups with small kids as the playground and playroom came in clutch for keeping the kids entertained. Within walking distance to beach and downtown restaurants and shops.

SOHO House

Our family of 12 enjoyed our stay! The play structure was a hit with the kids and the adults enjoyed the patio, fire pit and barbeque! The upstairs play area for the kids was a hit! Location was very convenient to the lake as well as downtown. The owner is in process of many improvements and upgrades. Kitchen was spacious but could have used a few more larger pots and pans. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would come back again!

Mini vacation for 3 Generations

Excellent overall experience! Well maintained beautiful home large enough for 7 adults and 3 small children. Very comfortable furnishings and large kitchen so we could all eat together. Kitchen appliances, flat ware, glasses, mugs, silver ware all first rate. Very comfortable beds and linens were super comfy. Outdoor play set was huge bonus for 2 year old. Very easy walk to restaurants and the beach. Highly recommend this house!!!

Great Family Weekend

Wonderful family getaway spot!Two sisters and our adult kids in their twenties gathered from five different cities for a long weekend of catching up, and this place was perfect. The sleeping arrangements were comfortable and suited everyone’s needs. The spacious kitchen made it easy for everyone to help with meal prep, and we loved gathering around the big table for meals and games.The outdoor space was a highlight—with plenty of room for lawn games (which were provided!), and a cozy fire pit where we could relax together after returning from watching the beach sunset. We enjoyed walking to the nearby shopping area and pier. While the beach is walkable, we opted to drive for convenience with all our gear—and it was a quick, easy trip.Highly recommend for families or groups looking to relax and reconnect in a well-equipped, comfortable setting

Repeat Visit

We rented last summer and found the accommodations so perfect for our family of 10 that we rented again this year (June 20-23), and we will be booking again next summer for another long family week-end. There is plenty of space inside and out, a wonderful kitchen, newly renovated from last year, as well as comfortable beds, AC, ceiling fans in every bedroom and 2 spacious bathrooms, and 2 living room areas. Down town is a 2-3 block walk and the beach is about 10 min walk. We drive to the beach because of the ages of the younger ones as well as all the "stuff" needed for a day at the beach. I highly recommend this VRBO. I also highly recommend South Haven with its great downtown area and beaches!

South Haven Bliss

Chen’s home was so welcoming. Huge kitchen, two full baths, four bedrooms, and two dens. Also, the front porch provided extra space for our grandchildren to play. Chen provided a wagon, beach chairs, and strollers. Her backyard had a playground, fire pit, and patio complete with a grill. We loved our stay and complimentary wine. We highly recommend Chen’s home😎😎😎😎

Summer stay in SoHa

This Victorian house offers delightful nooks to explore on all floors. Antiques combine with contemporary features for a warm welcoming vibe. Spacious kitchen and eating area for our extended family of 11. Kids play area on the top floor as well the playset in the yard. Fire pit and comfy seating for the adults. Quiet neighborhood yet close to downtown and the beach. Host quickly answered request for additional propane. The 5 year old grandson announced we are coming back next year and staying for seventeen days!

Great Place!

Brandy happened to be there when we arrived and went out of her way to accommodate us: installed childproof gates on the stairs, overheard us say that we had forgotten our coffee grinder and promptly ordered one to have at the house, which arrived the following day. She also helped us get set up with the toddler bed situations, and was overall warm, helpful, and went out of her way to make sure our stay was good. Our group of 10 had a wonderful experience! It's a large specious place with plenty of room. It has a large table that all 10 of us could eat at comfortably (rare in VRBOs), and a very large well-equipped kitchen.(rare in VRBOs) All the adults mentioned enjoying the comfort of the beds (rare in a VRBO).Outdoor space great for games and lounging.About 7 blocks from the beach and 3 blocks from town.Highly recommended! We hope to return next summer for our family vacation.

Amazing Rental Property!

I stayed witha group of friends at this listing over Labor Day weekend. The property was exactly as advertised—spacious, clean, and was in the perfect spot to explore downtown and walk to South Beach. We made so many great memories around the fire pit and barbecuing in the backyard. I cant say enough good things about the host either. Issues were resolved promptly even after the rental period was over. I hope we can stay there again next summer!

Had a great stay,house is awesome.

Huge kitchen, plenty of spaces to socialize. My grandson loved the play set and playing the.piano. Lots of fires in the fire pit and walks to town.
