This house is close to so much, making it the ideal spot to call home for your next trip to Lafayette. Our guests love the rich Cajun Culture that they can experience while staying with us. From the many festivals in the Acadiana area to the restaurants serving delicious food and featuring live music, you can always find something of interest. Acadiana also has a variety of golf courses, state parks, museums and other attractions.

This furnished house provides you and your guests with all the comforts of home. Relax outside or utilize the free WIFI, or watch a great movie on our ROKU TVs. There is also a fully equipped kitchen, complete with a coffee maker, blender, toaster, and plenty of pots and pans.

You’re sure to experience the best hospitality and charm while staying here!

We really just have a few simple rules: No smoking of any kind or vaping inside. No pets. No parties or events. And please respect that checkout is by 11 AM, so we can be considerate of the next guest arriving.

*REMINDER* Our home is not to be used as a party space. A $75 extra charge will be submitted and a mandatory payment of $35 per person over our 6 person limit will be charged if caught.

For us it was perfect, close to shopping, restaurants and pickleball. House was clean and well decorated. We were comfortable and had a great time all winter.

Wonderful minus a few minor issues

The house is absolutely adorable! I walked in and loved all of the little added touches and hospitality. The neighborhood seemed very nice and we liked having the carport to park under. It was close to everything we needed and having a walmart literally 2 minutes away was very convenient. If you plan to truly cook a meal, I feel it is lacking. I was just cutting fruit and there weren't really many knives or good ones. But there are two reasons this rental is receiving a 4 instead of a 5 star rating. First, he guest toilet overflowed and the plunger left next to the toilet was falling apart. Luckily this was right before we were leaving instead of during the stay. The toilets seemed to make a lot of noise in general and we weren't fans of the bidet in the master. Second, there was a significant presence of bugs. A roach crawled across the kitchen counter one morning and we found ants randomly throughout the house. One was even crawling on the couch while my son was on it. The owner was very responsive and has said that they will work to remedy the toilet and bug issue.

From the time I entered the house I felt welcomed. David responded quickly to my calls. My family can't wait to get the dates for next year's conference so we can book this home again. We felt safe in this area.

Cozy Stay

This was wonderful and restful. We were in a quiet neighborhood. The house was very welcoming, cute, and clean. The beds were comfortable and the owners were quick to respond. The games and books were a nice touch!

Perfect Accommodation and value.

Very clean, ranch style, cozy place. Owner thought of everything a guest would need. Readers, books, games, plenty of towels, blankets etc. Loved it. Owner checked in on us since there was a storm that Sunday. That was a nice touch.

Perfect for Easter

The Best Place To Stay

This was my first experience with VRBO and was nervous to rent a place, however this was easiest process ever. Owners very attentive answered all questions and quickly! House is beautiful, tons of room, jet tub is very comfortable and large. Had everything we needed including games, which my friends and I did play. House is close to others however very quiet neighborhood! Easy to find and close to so much. When we go back to visit my brother, I will definitely try to get this place again! I would give this place more than 5 stars but 5 is the highest.

Clean and comfortable

We spent a long weekend in Lafayette. The place was very clean, well stocked (with great pans for cooking!), and as advertised. Communication with the hosts was quick and easy. Neighborhood was quiet and clean. We also enjoyed puzzles and games that were provided on a rainy day. Would definitely stay again!

Meeting new grandson

This property was an excellent place to stay. we came into town to welcome our newborn grandson. We were very comfortable in this home with our 81 year old Mother and with our 3 year old grandson who spent a night. Very clean, nice amenities and neighborhood. Highly recommend!

I would stay here again...

Clean, spacious, well equipped for us and our adult kids. I especially appreciated having a washer and dryer. The kitchen is well-furnished if you want to cook. The place was tidy and quiet. We had a terrible experience in a place nearby last year, so i was leery. But Sunstone did not disappoint.

Family Reunion

Everything you need for a fun vacation. Comfortable clean and well located this accommodation checked all the boxes for the perfect 4 day reunion. Great food and a bundle of fun activities within a few miles. This property has it all. Hosts are diligent welcoming and responsive.

We wanted our vacation rental to be in a safe area but also close to area attractions such as ball parks, entertainment, downtown, hospitals and our local university, ULL. We think we found the perfect place and we also enjoy staying at our Home on Sunstone!

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

Clean and well maintained house with a fenced in backyard and patio furniture. Located in a quiet residential neighborhood and only minutes from several attractions including Surge, ballparks, downtown and even local hospitals. The bedrooms all have natural lighting but also darkening curtains if you want to sleep late. There are enough kitchen utensils and appliances to please anyone. The separate dining area allows for family time meals. These features and so many more are what makes our VRBO special.
