Located in the heart of Soulard, one of the oldest neighborhoods in the city, laid out in the early 19th Century just south of what was the original core of St. Louis. Only 5 minutes from downtown, it's close to most major STL attractions. The neighborhood is very safe and visually stunning if you enjoy old architecture. Perhaps best known for being the home to the 2nd largest Mardi Gras behind New Orleans, it is also a walkable neighborhood with a vibrant restaurant and nightlife scene.

You will have private and exclusive access to the entire apartment during your stay. This includes the two bedrooms, living area, kitchen, bathroom, and private balcony. Enjoy the convenience of ample, free street parking available right in front of the building.

The place is exactly as described.The furniture and beds were comfortable. We appreciated the coffee each morning. Joe checked on us to see if there was anything we needed. The location is great for walking to the many restaurants and bars in the area. Most attractions are less than 15 minutes away driving. We would stay here again if we return to St Louis in the future.

My family of 5 needed a place to stay for one night short notice and this absolutely met our needs. Comfortable unit and location. Much more comfortable than a local hotel. Would recommend.

Great location for downtown interests. Owner forewarned us early on about some late night noise with people having a good time in the neighborhood bars and his description of the noise type and level was accurate, so we knew what to expect. The AC was not working when we first arrived, and within a few hours of letting Joe know he had a solution in place that we were happy with. High-traffic areas of the rental were very clean (beds, bathrooms, kitchen). This rental and location would be perfect for a friends weekend out to enjoy downtown St Louis and bar scene. The location benefits of this rental are a little bit lost on families with kids looking to do touristy stuff around the city and surrounding area.

Great lodging in Soulard

Nice location within walking distance to local establishments for food and beverages. Fairly quiet during midweek. Near the Soulard market, unfortunately the only venders open on Wed-Thur are the permanent shops in the center. Loved the Spice store and the Protagonist Cafe

Great Location

This was a fun location to be at. We could walk to all the bars and restaurants and even to the Budweiser Brewery. Our host Joe was also great. Would definitely recommend this place.
