Capitol Hill, excellent location, Lower Level Apartment

Fully remodled property. Great location, 1 block to Lincoln Park, near Capitol, Union Station and Eastern Market. Walkable to Barracks Row, H Street and the Fields at RFK. Great bike and walk scores!

In the neighborhood you'll find The Cupboard, Hill Cafe, Wine + Butter, Manna, The Pretzel Bakery, Safeway, Trader Joes and more. Three METROs nearby: Stadium-Armory, Potomac Avenue, Eastern Market.

Bedroom with queen bed, separate office with desk. Approx. 700+ sq ft total. W/D and Dishwasher in unit. Wi-fi, Smart TV with DVD player, Netflix , Hulu, Disney, and other streaming including.

Keyless entry at front. 2 separate front and back entrances. Please note there are stairs at each entrance.

Although there is plenty of street parking available the location is very walkable with excellent pubic transportation. A car is not necessary to get around DC, however, if you plan to drive and need to park during the weekdays, please inquire for a parking pass. A pass is not required on weekends.

Lower level apartment of 2 unit property. The upstairs unit is our family's primary residence, however, while we are abroad on military orders it is also rented and usually hosts families.

New ceilings have been installed between units and greatly reduces sound transmission, however, as is typical in older DC rowhouses, noise may still carry between units (upstairs or neighbors) as these row homes were built in 1914.

You are welcome to use the front patio and table and chairs, however, the back patio is reserved for use of upstairs unit.

Great Location!

The apartment was exactly as described! We were able to walk or bike into the Capital every day, and return each evening to dine in the neighborhood. Recommendations for dining were extremely helpful, and we returned multiple nights.

DC at its best!!!

Everything was fabulous, location location location 💕. It was such a great time, while we were there a high school band marched down the street each night and they were awesome, what a treat. The neighbors were friendly. The apartment was great everything was perfect.

Perfect!!

I'm a senior, solo traveler so I tend to be very picky about where I stay. This had everything I needed. Close to the major Smithsonian attractions, safe neighborhood and very quiet. I was in town for a week but there is so much to see in DC I will definitely be back and if available, this is where I want to stay.

Charming

The pictures on the website are very accurate. The place was charming and clean. Our host was easy to work with and provided us with a parking pass for our stay. I wish it was a bit closer to the metro. We walked so much in DC that we were dragging on our last leg home!

Great spot, great place

We truly enjoyed our stay in this suite. Location is perfect.. lovely leafy Capital hill district. Suite was as advertised, and just spot on for what we needed. Host Alec was great about communication, and being flexible with our requests for some bag storage for a short time. We are short-term rental hosts, and I learned some things from what Alec/Brittany have done with their place, which is always great when we stay elsewhere.. Would certainly stay here again.

This is a great location, safe neighborhood, walking distance to grocery store and restaurants. Quiet and comfortable. The host was great and answered all of my questions in a timely manner. I would 100% stay here again next time I'm in D.C.

Uitstekend verblijf in nette buurt

Wij verbleven beneden in het ruime verblijf met 1 slaapkamer. De bewoners verhuren de kamer erboven ook. Je hoort de mensen wel lopen en het aanschuiven van een stoel ook. Als dat s'morgens vroeg al gebeurt kan je er wakker van worden. Het verblijf is erg netjes en compleet ingericht. Alle apparatuur werkt naar behoren. Er was een pak koffie en een water filter aanwezig. Het water uit de kraan kan ermee gefilterd worden, helaas ruikt en smaakt het water in Amerika erg naar chloor. Ondanks het filter. In Nederland zijn wij dit niet gewend. Het verblijf heeft een klein raampje bij de voordeur en in de slaapkamer is nog een deur met raam die je naar het terras van de bovenburen brengt en is een vluchtroute. Er is een zitje buiten bij de voordeur. Alle ruimtes zijn voorzien van stille airco units. De supermarkt Safeway is groot en is ongeveer 10 lopen van het huis. In de buurt zijn de huizen en straten een bezienswaardigheid het is het historisch district. The Capitol building ligt op 30 min lopen afstand van het verblijf. Het contact met de eigenaar of tussenpersoon was zeer goed. Tip neem een leuk koelkast magneetje van thuis mee en laat hem daar achter. Wij brachten Ă©Ă©n uit Friesland mee.
