Secluded cabin with the perfect amenities for a weekend away. The indoor fireplace and hot tub were highlights for our trip. Convenient location to Snowshoe for skiing.
I will be looking to book this stay for every future snowboarding trip to Snowshoe. Cozy experience for group of 8. Well-equipped and furnished.Strong recommend!
Great place for a quiet get away. Walking distance to the Allegheny trail, and short drive to Cass scenic railroad and Snowshoe. We really enjoyed our stay.
Property was well maintained and perfect for a weekend ski getaway! Our group stayed comfortably in the cabin and Marie was wonderful at being responsive, even letting us into the cabin early when our first day of skiing turned out to be a bust! Highly recommend this place!
The stay was great and the property was excellent!!! I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing and quiet place to stay. We were down for trout fishing as well as site seeing. Great place!!!
Me and my girl friends had a great time at this cabin while skiing/snowboarding at Snowshoe. It was only 35 minutes from the resort and the hot tub was perfect afterwards for our sore muscles. We loved the place!
Well maintained and the host made sure it was cozy with bath towels toilet paper, paper towels, and many other amenities. Super helpful if you forgot anything. Felt like I was staying at my aunts house.
We had an amazing stay at this cabin. Saw deer, groundhogs, golden eagles and other birds daily. Enjoyed the cabin's remoteness and the solitude. SO QUIET! sat on the wraparound deck each morning with a cup of coffee and a visit by a doe and her fawn. Saw other deer and wildlife - but no bear this time. Would recommend and we will stay again when we are in the area!
We loved our 2 nights in this incredibly detailed rustic cabin. The owners have done tremendous care to make sure every last part has unique details. We loved being out in the hot tub while it snowed down on us and then returning inside to the fire place. It was a perfect weekend.
This was such a cute place for a little weekend trip! Itâs out of the way and you canât see a single soul on the property. Everything was as described and it was so comfortable. Truly a beautiful place to stay! Definitely a hidden gem đ
We come to West Virginia every year and have stayed at many cabins. I have to say this one is by far our favorite from the beautiful cabin, land and location. Not to mention the kitchen has everything we needed and we cooked a lot! Absolutely perfect, not to mention the property manager is quick and easy to talk to! I would give them 100 stars if I could!
Ideal for our liking. Well kept. Enjoyed the wood stove, made it like home, appreciated the adequate supply of wood. Close to hiking trails. Secluded location. Enjoyed the scenery with a light snow falling while using the hot tub. Would return when in West Virginia again.
Our stay was relaxing and accommodating while skiing at Snowshoe. The 40 minute drive is doable and worth it for the hot tub in seclusion. We loved the wood burning stove and it is a nice accommodation the wood is provided as we've stayed other places where it was not.
The beds are comfortable and the showers have good water pressure. Hot tub was clean and well placed. Great location for star gazing and to get your hygge on.
3 sons and I had planned a weekend of biking/hiking and general R&R. Weather didnât cooperate for the biking but were able to substitute a couple hours of pickleball at a rec center not too far away. Hot tub was a nice treat to relax afterwards. Cabin was clean and equipped as advertised. Enjoyed our stay.
My wife and I had an absolutely wonderful stay here. Coffee with fresh morning air every day was a treat in itself. The way the mist rests at the tree line was serene. Getting to listen to the sounds of nature while having a drink in the hot tub was wonderful. We checked out the nearby radio Observatory and did the tour which was excellent. Nearby Marlinton has some great spots for breakfast, lunch, and dinner (and drinks!) We will 100% be back in the near future.
