Welcome to Little Cove Resort, located in Taft, Texas. This cozy home sits on Egery Island with endless views of Copano Bay.

Enjoy endless fishing at the Little Cove Resort, with a 325-foot private fishing pier with green fishing lights for night fishing and a fish cleaning station with power and water. Fire up the grill with the fresh catch of the day and dine alfresco at the picnic table. When night falls, enjoy making smores with the firepit while enjoying family time together.

Inside the home, you will discover cozy living spaces with a Smart TV in each bedroom and living room. Find a fully equipped kitchen set with major appliances and cookware. Relax on the king bed in the primary bedroom. Find a comfortable queen bed in the second bedroom. The little ones will enjoy the comforts of the third bedroom as it is set with a twin/twin bunk bed and a twin/full bunk bed. Quick Escape

We booked the Little Cove Resort as a quick escape before school started back up. It was the perfect location. We fished till 2am thanks to the pier lighting. It was super quiet and secluded. The house is a cinder block fishing cabin with super comfortable beds and couches. Little minor things is the front bathroom door does not close, there’s no fan in the front bedroom, and the ventilation is not strong in that room, so it’s pretty warm at night. We would definitely stay here again!

Cozy Fishing Cottage

Cottage is very comfortable and it's a super quiet location. AC kept it at desired temp and everything functions as it should. Furniture in living room is super comfortable - nap time if you want one. Zero negatives about the house. It was what it is shown to be in the pictures.Fishing pier is the star of the show. Whole family fished every night with the pier lights and typically again in the mornings. Good catch quantity wise. The only negative I can say about the pier is that it's 6-8 feet height above very shallow water and one side of the walk has no safety rail and no safety rail around the main pier. That was evident in the pictures, but it really didn't hit home until walking on it that falling would be a really bad day. I can't in good conscious recommend families with little children stay here. In fairness, many of the piers seem built this way. At least hang life preservers with rope.Only complaint is lack of basic items. One roll of paper towels, 2 rolls of toilet paper for 4 people a 3 night stay. Two travel size shampoos and travel size soap bars (no body wash). No basic seasonings in the cabinet. Coffee maker and filters - but no coffee. And a long way into town if you need just basic items (25 minutes). 2 pack of paper towels, 4 pack of toilet paper, in-shower shampoo and soap dispensers filled up, coffee and a small selection of the most basic seasonings would have been more appropriate and a very low-cost nicety for guests.

Great Place to Unwind

Quiet / peaceful location, good size condo, had everything we needed inside, overall a very enjoyable trip for our Easter weekend. We caught some fish despite the very windy weather during our stay so we can't wait to go back to this private pier in calmer weather. Great outdoor social space, plenty of room for kids to run around.

Loved it!

The house was beautiful! The fishing pier was awesome always catching something no matter what time it was. We will definitely be staying there again but next time i will bring covers for the bathroom and bedroom windows
