Country Cottage Apartment

Come and stay in this charming country cottage apartment that overlooks the potager garden! The basement apartment is completely separate from the rest of the house with a private entrance and your own patio with outdoor dining and barbecue. Watch a variety of wildlife visit the garden right out your window! Your kids will enjoy our complimentary 200ft zip line & 80ft rope swing. The property, while in the country, is conveniently located minutes from restaurants, Silverwood Theme Park, Hayden Lake and Honeysuckle Beach. There are also 4 ski resorts nearby!

You'll find games, books and toys for the kids in the apartment. The cottage apartment is in a walk out basement of the house so you will hear walking around from upstairs and some plumbing. The apartment is newly remodeled and extra insulation was included to make your stay as quiet as possible. A family of six lives above the apartment. The kitchen has a microwave, oven and stove top, cookie sheet, muffin tin, mixing bowls, measuring cups ect. Oven fits a large 14" pizza. The washer and dryer can be used but detergent is not provided. The Roku TV is capable of logging into your streaming services. The road is a quiet country road that makes for a great walk. There is a lot of wildlife nearby. If you stroll down the road to the top of the hill and look north in the morning you may just see the local elk herd grazing in the meadow.

6 of us stayed the night here for Scarywood and it was perfect! The beds were comfortable and the place was clean and inviting! We got there pretty late and went straight to bed! I’m glad the checkout was 11! Gave us more time to sleep in after a long night!

I rarely try to go out of my way to stay at a place I previously stayed, but in the case of Scott's home I was thrilled to be able to return. This is an excellent place to visit, particularly if you're visiting Silverwood or Scarywood. The location is remote and quiet, and the home has just about everything you'd need. Scott is friendly and helpful and accommodating. Beds are comfortable, and the space is welcoming and inviting. The outside space is nice as well, and our kids love seeing the animals wandering around. My only regret is that we were only there one night; we'd love to have stayed longer. Note that you will hear noise from upstairs, but the hosts are good about ensuring it is quiet during nighttime hours. Overall highly recommend, and we will return anytime we can!

Really clean, host was responsive/messaged if needed, beds were comfortable. You are in the middle of nowhere so there is no traffic to city noises which was really nice! Only things to list as a down fall is you can hear every footstep of the property owner (rental is below their home) and the internet/wifi was very slow.

Great place to stay when visiting Silverwood

Very clean and nice furniture, dishes and cookware. Host was accommodating when we needed a coffee maker instead of a Keurig.

Overall it was a great property and very clean. It was quiet beside the homeowners footsteps. Only downfall was that there was a Keurig but no coffee, coffee pods, tea etc. I messaged the owner to see if he had any coffee pods (maybe he forgot to put them out) and he got back to me an hour later. By that time we gave up and went to the grocery store. He brought down a handful, but I think it was of his own supply. I don’t think they normally have some. I thought it was a little strange since he has a Keurig and normally there is a supply of coffee and tea. Not a big deal and other than that it was a great stay. Bed as comfortable.

Fantastic apartment!

Our family of 5 was very comfortable here. It was just minutes to Triple Play and some great restaurants. It was very private and the only noise we could hear above was occasional footsteps. The beds were comfortable and everything was very clean. Would definitely stay here again.

During a very difficult time, we needed a place to stay. The home is beautiful, clean, and so tranquil. We enjoyed our stay and everything we needed was provided. My granddaughters loved the cats they were so excited that they could pet them. Also thank you for allowing them to pick raspberries. Would definitely recommend to family and friends.
