Mockingbird Pointe est un paradis au bord de l'eau tropical calme et isolé de 1/2 acre au cœur des Florida Keys avec une piscine privée en béton chauffée ou réfrigérée de 16 pi x 32 pi avec solarium. Cette maison de deux chambres et deux salles de bain a été récemment rénovée, meublée et entièrement rénovée avec de nouveaux meubles, de la literie, des œuvres d'art et du linge de maison. Enveloppez les porches grillagés surplombant le lagon de Sombrero et votre quai protégé de 85 pieds avec station de nettoyage de poisson, congélateur d'appâts et douche extérieure. Doux, facile à parcourir les étapes vers les espaces de vie. La cuisine comprend tous les ustensiles de cuisine et les outils pour satisfaire le chef en vous. La construction à poutres apparentes de Chypre, conçue par l'architecture, rend cet endroit vraiment spécial pour votre escapade parfaite. We have stayed at this beautiful home several years now and are never disappointed! They’ve done some recent upgrades to the home too, which only add to how amazing already it really is.You feel like you are worlds away from any traffic or chaos, but truly, you are just a couple minutes from the grocery store, amazing restaurants, and so much more to do.The hosts of this property are fantastic! Easy to communicate with, quick responses, and often will call on your arrival day just to make sure you made it in OK.

We have now stayed at Mockingbird point a couple of times and the premises is always spotless and as promised or exceeding any promises or expectations that we had or was stated in the listing. Being a fellow fisherman I got to know the owners pretty well this last time both by phone and text and I hardly recommend Mockingbird point to anybody looking for a property this size.

My family really enjoyed the house. Has a great screened-in back porch. Outdoors is beautiful. Loved the pool and the fishing. They have bikes, fishing poles, kayaks, all the extras you don’t always get from rentals. Hosts were very responsive and friendly.

An amazing water front home in the heart of Marathon! Central to everything and loaded with all the amenities you could ask for…. The outdoor spaces here are truly special and the owners are hospitable and responsive. This is a 10 out of 10! We will be back!

We have stayed here every year for at least 10 years. Never had a major problem and if there was it was rectified quickly. Every year we have stayed here the Burkhart's have updated the house in some sort of way.You won't go wrong renting this house!!

Great stay and communication with Host. Property has everything you need. Very quiet and secluded location. Perfect for two couples. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms. One in the master and you can close off the other to made that private too or leave the door open, Very well stocked with everything you need. Pool was surprisingly warm for May. Perfect temp. Dolphins swimming in the bay was a treat one afternoon. We had a great time!!

Thanks for staying at Mockingbird Pointe. The dolphins have been more frequent visitors this year than usual. Early mornings are often best, but they can appear at any time. They follow schools of mullet up Sisters Creek and up the channel to our tropical lagoon. Always a treat to see them!

This was our 5th stay at Mockingbird Pointe. Once again everything was amazing. The property is so beautiful & relaxing. There’s some new updates since last year. There is a new quiet & cozy office space and some updates on the dock with new LED dock lights. Phil & Linda are wonderful hosts who take great care of their home and guests. The Burkhart’s are fabulous hosts! The property is beautiful, tucked away by gorgeous foliage and a private pool. There is a wrap around porch offering many views. We return every year!

This place is amazing!!! We instantly felt at home! The host provides everything you could ever need to have a perfect vacation- bicycles, kayaks, fishing poles, a private dock with a fish light that attracts fish, a pool with toys- we could not have asked for a better time! They even have a manatee that makes daily visits. We will definately stay again!

Great vacation location with handy travel and check-in information provided prior to arrival. The house was wonderful with clean and well-maintained grounds and pool. We love Mockingbird Point, on this property you have that resort feeling of high end amenities and the solitude needed to get away and relax. I have an enjoyable and busy career, the owners have a nice quiet office space to use when necessary. Although the tiki hut by the pool is often one of my favorite work places. If you have a busy career or a busy family life, this is the perfect place to unwind and relax. The location is great to all the day and nightlife attractions in Marathon. The island life experience on this property is excellent, it’s hard coming home after a week on Mockingbird Point. A few stays at this property over the last five years has us convinced that we need to find our own property in Marathon and create an island getaway that will be ours. Until then we will be returning to Mockingbird Point for all of our future Marathon trips. The owners are excellent, they communicate early and just often enough to make you feel welcomed in their home. They are always readily available if you should have any questions or if anything were to arise during your stay. They are very gracious hosts, they want to to love Marathon as much as they do.

Relaxing Retreat

Our stay was amazing! The house is wonderful! It is situated among large trees and lush landscaping making it feel private and secluded, but is also close to stores and restaurants. The wrap around porch and pool area were very relaxing. We would definitely stay here again. Philip and Linda are great host!

We had a storm cell come through the area a hour prior to your arrival and after our weekly 10am pool service had been completed. The storm did leave some foliage debris from our large shade tree and landscaping for which we provide a charged blower and pool skimmer use after these unpredictable tropical weather events.

Great place to stay and the owners are very nice. This place is unique because of the nice green gardens and screened in wrap around porch. 3rd time staying here and hope to stay here again someday!

Amazing property. Feels so private and secluded. Very nice full size pool that actually feels refreshing in the summer heat. Great dock access makes docking your boat very easy. Kids caught more than 40 fish from the dock, but the many tarpon hanging around were too elusive unfortunately. Owners are great. Kids want to come back next year!

We had a wonderful time during our stay. The house and pool were clean and the outdoor area was beautiful. We had a great time fishing off the dock, swimming, kayaking and just relaxing. We would definitely return!!

Absolutely the best home we've ever had the opportunity to spend our two week vacation in Marathon! Philip and Linda were amazing hosts. Communications were excellent from the moment we arrived. Philip called to confirm everything was in order at their home, which it was.The homes amenities were outstanding! From the bikes, kayaks, fishing equipment, full kitchen, and wonderful pool, everything was provided. We've already made plans to return next year!
