This unique cabin offers a nostalgic retreat, perfect for families or couples. The first bedroom features a queen bed, while the second bedroom offers both a queen bed and bunk beds, comfortably accommodating up to 6 guests. The cabin's kitchen is equipped with all the essentials for preparing meals, and a Smart TV with Wi-Fi keeps you entertained.

We loved our stay at Hooked on a Feeling. The cabin had a great vintage feel, but had everything we needed for a four-night stay. We brought our kayaks and loved the easy put-in and take-out at either the stairs or dock. I had to reach out to the property manager about a minor issue and their response was immediate. We definitely hope to stay in this cabin again.

We will definitely be saving this property for future trips. It was perfectly quaint, and equipped. It was the best vacation we have had in 20 yrs. Ill be sending to my son in law for his honeymoon.

Beautiful lake home

The location was amazing. The interior of the home reminds me of my family’s old lake home and I love that! We made some great memories on the lake and will definitely be returning.

Graduation Weekend

My son was graduating from SUCC. We booked Hooked on a Feeling so we could all just relax after all his hard work. The cabin was absolutely perfect. So much charm! The lake was so peaceful. The kids had so much fun kayaking. The driveway was a bit steep and narrow, but not too bad for a smaller car. It rained a bit while we’re there. We all agree we will need to do it again!

I live 700 miles from my daughters, and we decided to take a long weekend and meet up at Lake Martin. I found hooked on a feeling VRBO and we met there. I was pleasantly surprised at the charm in the location of his house. It was very warm and inviting and had everything we needed. I did rent a boat from one of the local marinas and we had, a lot of fun on the water as well as some special moments on the property. Thank you for making this possible for me and my daughters I would recommend this location and VRBO to all who ask.

Modest Amenities, Perfect Location

Hooked On A Feeling is an older property that lacks a few amenities such as a dishwasher and washer/drier. Also, the A/C in the den struggled a bit to keep up with the heat of July. Some folks might consider that "charm". But to be fair to the property, the outdoor setup was great; charcoal grill, table and chairs, canoe, kayaks, dock with ladder into the water, and more. What was forfeited in creature comforts, though, was balanced by the perfect location of the home. Hooked On A Feeling is situated with open lake on one side and a peaceful cove on another. The cove is perfect for swimming and kayaking. A small sandbar located directly across the cove is a fantastic place to play in shallow water, particularly for children. The open-lake views produced beautiful scenes at dusk and dawn. The home is located within a mile or so of a boat ramp for those who bring boats with them. The booking procedure, check-in, and check-out were clear and simple. The property manager communicated excellently and was as helpful as she could have been. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will likely return in the future.
