Rushmore respite

This was a great spot to come “home” to and relax after a day out adventuring in the black hills. It’s an easy drive to Mt Rushmore, Custer, and Crazy Horse, and plenty of easy access to restaurants and stores nearby. We enjoyed stretching our legs in the spacious back yard and playing games provided by our host. A wonderful stay!

Charming

We loved our stay. It was a peaceful retreat. The beds were comfortable. The living room and kitchen were great to hang out in. I would definitely stay here again.

Comfortable and HOMEY!

Had a great time in Rapid city visiting our daughter at SD MINES! Close to everything! Great kitchen and comfortable living area - a place for everyone to lounge. Highly recommended.

Had a small issue when we arrived, however, Host responded quickly and fixed the issue. The kitchen only seats three so difficult for 8 people to eat meals together. Suggest the host add TV trays for additional dinning space. Would recommend this house.

Centrally located, clean property

We had a great stay. Check in was seamless, and the host was easy to reach when needed. The property had no AC, but there are window units in each of the bedroom. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals and there were plenty of towels for the 7 adults/kids. Kids loved the tire swing and big backyard to run in

Great 3 bedroom house

Super clean and well appointed. Easy to find and great value for a 3 bedroom. AC in living room is great bedrooms did get a little warm in heat it summer when we first arrived but we put fan in hall and with bedroom doors open the rooms all cooled down very nicely. Def a great property and do recommend for anyone. Looks newly renovated and we enjoyed our stay. Owner was super communicative!

Nice little house

Overall very clean, but air circulation is limited. Only 1 air cooling unit. The bedrooms get warm. Kitchen is limited stock, but was sufficient for breakfast. Was nicely located for our needs. Quiet.

It was perfect for us

I have to say I was a little concerned that there was no central air - being from a state that we have to have central air - but it worked out perfectly. The house was always the perfect temp and very welcome since the weather was extremely hot. We also noticed many houses do not have central air in Rapid City. :) Nice. The house itself was immaculate and everything we needed was there. It actually felt like coming home after our day's adventures. And it was so nice to do laundry before we headed back home. It worked out so great for a gramma (me), daughter and son-in-law, and grandson (10). THANK YOU SO MUCH!

The Tourist’s Haven was a clean, cozy space for a quick overnight stay. Property was easy to find and we appreciated the small yard for our pup. Good, helpful communication throughout. Thanks for a good stay!
