Great family vacation

This was a great vacation spot for a family vacation! We had an amazing time!! Everything was wonderful, the pools, the beaches, the people, the food... all really good. Would definitely recommend.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!! Thank you really doesn't express my sincere gratitude to you both. You were kind, patient, helpful, and so many other things in the process of me planning our girls getaway vacation to the Dominican Republic. I'm soooo grateful that I was able to find your ad. From the time I touched down in POP, things ran smoothly. Transportation and check-in was a breeze. Words can't begin to describe our reaction once entering the Presidential Suite. The suite was absolutely AMAZING!! The resort was a sight to be seen. I was truly overwhelmed (in a good way). There was so much to do. I didn't get a chance to see and do everything. I'm kicking myself daily for not taking full advantage of everything. I was pleasantly surprised that no-one asked us if we wanted to attend a presentation. Our bands clearly stated "GM". I would have loved to attend one. Our only downfall is that we didn't get a chance to use the complimentary tickets to Ocean World. The concierge needed a 2 day notice and the day we select was already full. Overall, this vacation is one for the books. I definitely walked away with great memories. There's no doubt in my mind that I would definitely visit there again. Also, if you have any other timeshare resorts/options that are available, I would definitely be interested. Take Care!

Excellent all around!

My wife and I loved our stay at the suite. The suite is extremely large, clean and luxurious. We enjoyed the large balcony with a couch and hammock. Restaurants, bars, the ocean and pools were a short walk away. The suite was plenty big for two- we had two bathrooms, a kitchen area and large jacuzzi tub. Simply a great space at a great property.

Mind-blowing!

We had a marvellous time at the Lifestyle Holidays Vacation Club, a truly fantastic resort that left nothing to wish for. The Presidential Suites was spacious and very clean, the staff friendly and helpful. We quickly found our favourite spot, the V.I.P Serenity Beach were we spent most of our time. We would also recommend renting a car to see more of the island and explore new areas and beaches like the Playa Grande that we instantly fell in love with. A mind-blowing experience, we would definitely go back again!

A MUST!!!

My stay was nothing but perfection! Upon arrival, everyone was so friendly and helpful, and there was always someone available to answer questions or provide guidance. The suite was beautiful! Much more spacious than I imagined, extremely clean and beautiful views from each balcony. Having VIP bracelets made all the difference! There was barely any restrictions to beaches and restaurants so you get to see and experience close to everything the resort has to offer. There are so many restaurants, pools and beaches to choose from that you will never get tired of going to the same place. If you don't want to go to the beach one day there are so many other excursions you can choose from. We went on a catamaran for the day and it was great! Lunch was served on the boat and we had the chance to go snorkeling. This was the greatest tropical vacation I have ever been on and I can't wait to plan my return!

Nice property, average food, pushy sales staff

On the plus side, the suite was very nice, and Serenity beach and the VIP pool were excellent. Also read and Lisa were very helpful before the trip, with prompt service and answers to our questions. Thanks! On the downside, I got food poisoning at the Blue Lagoon. The food at other restaurants was average. We heard Azul is fantastic, but we were not allowed there – it is apparently reserved only for the owners and shareholders. The second low note was the weather, with two full days of rain and a couple of partially rainy days during our stay. The temperature was in the mid 70s – low 80s with pretty strong winds on the beach. We are familiar with the occasional scattered showers in the Caribbean, but many other resorts offer rainy day vouchers for future stay. Lastly, we did not appreciate the manner in which the VIP staff handled membership sales. I am sure they are just following protocol, but their manner had left us feeling ambushed, lied to, and "processed." The ordeal began on our very first morning, while we were walking to the Serenity beach. We were stopped by one of the VIP guest managers, who welcomed us and offered us a tour of the property and a ride to the beach. Sounded good, except instead he dropped us off at the VIP tower to “pick up our welcome packages” and said that the person who got us the welcome package would give us a tour and a ride to the beach. Instead, that second person had handed us over to a sales rep who wanted us to “sit down and discuss membership.” He seemed offended when we indicated that we had just got there and did not want to sit through sales demos. When we asked him if he was going to show us the property and take us to the beach he replied “do I look like a tour guide?” When we again indicated that we were not interested in discussing membership, his reply was “OK, you may go”. We had to walk to the rest of the way to the beach, and, on the following days, we would repeatedly be stopped by the VIP staff in golf carts asking us when did we arrive at the resort and if we have “had the tour” yet. I must say that this experience has greatly detracted from the vacation. We have visited many time share and membership resorts in the past, but have never encountered such aggressive and dishonest sales approach. We had talked to several other guests who were also dismayed at this experience.

Unbelievable Honeymoon!

My Husband and I stayed at the Presidental Suites for a week on our Honeymoon! The moment we arrived we were greeted by the staff with a nice refreshing drink while we checked into our room, once we were done they hooked us up with the nicest lady to go over the property and where everything is! After that we went to our room, I couldn't believe it was where we were staying for the week! It was amazing.. It had a full kitchen with all stainless steel appliances, followed by a dining room table and living room, it had 2 full bathrooms, in the master bedroom there was a king size bed with the jacuzzi tub in the room! Our room was located right next to the pool which was very nice, it has the nice comfy lounge chairs and sun bathing beds, jacuzzi hot tub, and the bar is located right by the pool with whatever you wanted to drink from sodas to frozen drinks. Not to mention the beaches. The water was warm and clear, the staff was on top of everything, towels, drinks, food whatever you needed they got it for you! If your looking for a luxury vacation to where you are catered to every minute, I would definitly recommend staying here!

Great second honeymoon

My wife and I went on a second honeymoon, and first trip with out kids and it was fantastic. They food was great, the perople were great, and the accomodations were fantastic! Would and will go back again in the future. The photos and descriptions were spot on, and the owner was increadably helpfull before during and after my trip.

Lifestyle Presidential suites

The Presidential Suites are awesome- very spacious & very clean with daily maid service. Refridge is stocked daily with beer, soft drinks, juice.. We are seniors & requested & received ground floor level. We were close to bar, buffet restuarant for breakfast & lunch. We felt as if the nearby tennis courts were our private courts. . We very much enjoyed the private balcony for readig, card playing & sunning.. We thought it was great value & plan to return next winter..

Spoiled Rotten

The rooms and resort were great and look exactly like the pics. This is a very nice and well kept property. With the gold band upgrade, we were spoiled rotten (not that you aren't if you have other colours) but we had never been to an all-inclusive before so this was quite different for us. We were taken care of from morning until night. Spent most of our days on the exclusive beaches and the evenings in the finest restaurants. The one thing that I would recommend is to get a better reading on the restaurants that are open to you on that night. Not all are. Have them go over it with you - we were too tired and decided to do it on our own later. Not a good idea. We were mixed up by the choices and ended up going to the Italian restaurant for mexican food - without a reservation. They were very generous and let us in anyway as they were not totally booked. We took only one excursion (rum tour) into Puerto Plata and it was great. We booked it at the resort (cheapvacations.com, I was a little leary of this company but figured if the resort let them have a kiosk, they were probably ok). As it was, the trip was wonderful with a longer day, going more places, and included lunch for the same price. Ocean World was included in our package and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Went back later for the casino/Las Vegas show - very entertaining to say the least. Great vacation and we would do it again.

The hospitality and friendliness of the Dominican people is unbeatable. This resort's VIP treatment makes you feel like a celebrity. We have done a lot of vacationing, but nowhere have we lived like royalty for a week at such a value. The weather is 75-85 degrees year round and although located in the Caribbean, the mountains in the center of the island create natural protection from hurricanes. It's paradise anytime you go.
