Bungalow Plage Années 40 Rénové - Très Courte Marche jusqu'à l'Océan, Berts & Center St

We are offering our bungalow on VRBO that is located just five houses past the famous Bert's, two blocks from Center St and a short three minute walk to the ocean! Our original 1940's Folly Beach Bungalow has been completely renovated with all modern conveniences. It features two bedrooms and two completely updated baths (see pictures). The updated kitchen features a Viking Glasstop Stove and granite countertops. Also, provided for your comfort, is a tankless hot water heater, central heat/air and new washer/dryer. The living room and both bedrooms have large screen televisions for your enjoyment. Also, there is also a comfortable Pottery Barn sofa/queen sleeper which can be used for extra guests! In addition to the sofa/sleeper, there is a "swing bed" on the sun porch for napping or sleeping...
The Bungalow comes fully equipped with linens, towels, hair dryers, and all needed kitchen utensils, including coffee pot, toaster oven, blender, slow cooker, etc. Cable TV and free Wi-Fi are also included.
Our location is excellent! The bungalow is less than a 3 minute walk to the ocean and a short two blocks to downtown Center Street - which is the Heart of Folly. Center street boasts quirky little beach stores; locally owned restaurants and bars. Also, a short half block away is the famous Berts Market - If you need it, you can find it there. And if you know anything about Folly - you know Bert's Market may Doze....but they never close! Recreational areas, including pickle ball and tennis courts are also located near by. A trip to Folly must include a visit to the historic Morris Island Light House, located on the east end of the island and a visit to the Folly Beach County Park on the west end.
No visit to Folly is complete without visiting historic Downtown Charleston, which is only a 12 mile drive.
After a full day in the sun or sightseeing, you can relax on our all-season front porch. The swing bed is perfect for napping or to people watching - I guarantee you - it's always interesting sights going by!
Our friends and family have always loved our place....we hope you love it as much as all of us!

The house is in a great location, very close to the beach, shopping and restaurants. It was very clean and was so well stocked. It had everything we could have needed including a first aid kit and heating pad! We will definitely come back!

If you're coming to Folly Beach, this is the place. Chris & Dianne are great hosts. The bungalow is comfortable, spacious, in an awesome location. Steps from the public access to the beach, close to Bert's market and all the restaurants. As my daughter said: "When we come back to Folly Beach, we HAVE to stay here!" She's not wrong, it was really special.

We enjoyed our stay here so very much! The house was clean, homey, and well stocked with everything you could need without feeling crowded or messy. It felt more like staying a friend's home rather than a rental and I mean that as the highest compliment. The location is absolutely ideal--you can be at the beach or a restaurant within a 5 minute walk! Great place to stay in Folly!

We have stayed at many homes at the beach, but this was a perfect location, beautifully cared for and it was obvious that the owners had a flair for decorating. From the time we checked in we simply loved the cozy remodeled bungalow that is ideally located close to the beach and great restaurants. The hosts were wonderful and very attentive- Would Highly recommend this for anyone looking for a lovely vacation spot.

We loved our stay here. The property was very clean and well maintained. Just wonderful! The cottage was well-appointed, exceptionally clean and had that perfect beach-y vibe. The location is great - we’ve stayed on Folly a number of times and we really enjoyed being closer to the downtown area, while also still being steps from the beach. We would love to come back!

The house had easy access to the beach, was very clean, was decorated beautifully, and we really enjoyed all the “extras” that were included like kitchen items and cleaning supplies. The owners are lovely people and they send correspondence in a timely fashion. I recommend this adorable home and would stay here again.

Absolutely The Best

This cottage was more than perfect! It was clean, fun and equipped with everything you could imagine (just like home)! The beach was super close and Chris and Dianne were wonderful. We will definitely be staying again!!!

Quiet little bungalow

This was a perfect spot for us and the house was beautiful and laid out really well. Very easy check in and out and the owner was very easy to communicate with. Hopefully it’s available next time we’re in the area.

Great location

This little cottage was great, perfect for two couples. Clean and spacious with lots of places to sit and relax. The front sun room was especially nice for people watching or reading. Short walking distance to the beach or restaurants. Host communication was excellent. Thanks for a great getaway!
