Bill's Cabin - 38 acres- hiking, mountain biking, waterfall

The first cabin you’ll come to is Bill’s Cabin, located on the site of a former homestead. Two bunk beds provide plenty of space for comfortable sleeping, and an additional long twin bed—also perfect as a cozy couch—sits between the bunks.

Cook dinner on the propane stove with full kitchen amenities while looking out over the fire. Relax by the outdoor fire pit or warm up beside the wood-burning stove under the soft glow of solar lights. At night, roll down the privacy covers and settle in with a good book by lantern light on our comfortable mattresses, while charging your devices with our solar-powered battery.

Our luxury bathhouse is just a short walk away and features two private rooms, each with a sink, shower, and toilet, with a door you can lock behind you for complete privacy. There’s also a sink for filling water bottles and a lovely outdoor shower available during the warmer months.

Enjoy our creekside sauna and cold plunge tucked into the woods at Cold Spring Basecamp. Heat up in the sauna overlooking rhododendron and flowing water, then cool off in our refreshing plunge pool set right in the creek and fed by crisp mountain spring water.

When you’re ready for adventure, simply pedal right out of the cabin onto our mountain bike trail system, or take a short hike to our waterfall and cliff overlooks.

Venture out and you’ll find yourself surrounded by some of the region’s most charming mountain towns, including Flat Rock, Saluda, Hendersonville, and Asheville. Each offers a wonderful mix of restaurants, shops, and local character. We’re also on the edge of apple country, with orchards and wineries waiting to be explored.

Just up the road, discover nearly 100 miles of trails and stunning waterfalls at DuPont State Recreational Forest. Ride world-class mountain biking trails at Ride Rock Creek Bike Park and Ride Kanuga Bike Park, or explore the endless hiking and biking opportunities in Pisgah National Forest. Paddle the world-famous Green River, home to Class I–V rapids, or soar through the trees on a canopy tour with The Gorge Zipline.
