‱ Enjoy peace & outdoor views, whilst centrally located on Coffee Pot Drive!

➀ The Colorful "Toni Morrison", is the upstairs of a two-apartment house with:

‱ A Full Kitchen
‱ Deck and a front yard private outdoor space, with a fire pit.
‱ Central air & heat, and features an electric fireplace as well

➀ Fantastic Location - Walking distance from trails, shops, coffee & restaurants!

THE SPACE:

This space is the top half of a house. It is private and separated from the downstairs by a locked door at the bottom of the stairs. You also have a private outdoor space in front of the house where you can enjoy a fire, if permitted.

You have access to the whole upstairs, which includes a full kitchen, dining are, deck, living room, bedroom, large closet with a dedicated work space, and full bathroom with a tub and shower.

Patrick and Elizabeth are your hosts, and we are available for anything you need during your stay.

Walking distance from the house is the Sedona film festival theaters, the AMC theater, the excellent Coffee Pot Restaurant, Starbucks, Bashas grocery store, The Vortex Coffee Shop (highly recommended), Pizza Lisa, Walgreens, Natural Grocers, Goodwill (you can get almost anything here including sometimes hiking shoes and boots), and several other places. A short walk back into the neighborhood will get you to the trailheads of Teacup and Dry Creek, trails that access hundreds of miles of trails throughout the national park. A short drive away is Whole Foods and Fresh & Natural Thai Kitchen.

Parking is in the space at the top of the driveway in front of the bamboo wall. If you have a bicycle with you, please keep it outside. You can store it under the stairs or down the side stairs toward the back of the house. Please help keep the magic red mud outside as much as possible.

The house is not sound proof, so you may hear guests downstairs. They will also hear you. It’s important to be mindful of this and not play loud music or television. We have added white noise machines and earplugs to the unit for guests who are very sensitive to sounds.
Please remove shoes at the door. Leave the red rock dust outside in all its majesty. Please also mind the quiet hours from 10pm to 8am. No parties are permitted. Every person in the house for any amount of time must be on the reservation.

The apartment was clean and very comfortable for our family of three. The location was ideal—just down the street from a grocery store, with shops and hiking trails nearby. We would happily stay here again.

Great place to stay!

This place was very clean and comfortable! Well decorated and you can tell there was a lot of thought put into this unit. Would definitely stay here again if in the Sedona area.

Location was great, had mostly everything we needed. Bed was not the most comfortable, a few extra blankets would have been nice and we only had one bath towel, which is odd considering the place says it sleeps up to 4. Lots of noise heard from the unit below such as TV, and conversations being had. Space was great, location was great, would stay again with a few minor changes.

Awesome place to stay

This was the perfect place for our short visit in Sedona. There was everything we needed and more. Great option for the price point. It’s also located close to many attractions which made it great for what we were in town for. Would stay again:)

Short Time in Sedona

My husband and I drove to Sedona from Las Vegas for a quick little trip after a tradeshow. We were only there for 3 nights, and this place couldn't have been more perfect! It was very centrally located for the hikes we decided to do and gave us the comfort of home after a long day. It was a clean, very cozy home. Definitely recommended!!

Sedona Get away

The Toni Morrison House is a beautifully decorated home nestled in a quite neighborhood and located close to everything. I enjoyed all the little touches and attention paid to detail for those staying. The bed was also extremely comfortable.

The Toni Morrison house was inspirational. The location on Coffee Pot Road was ideal, the layout of the space comfortable, the large windows and balcony offered scenic views and the artwork all made for an incredible experience.

Great location

I was very happy with my stay. The location is perfect. Walking distance to breakfast and trails. Most everything we wanted to doin Sedona was within a 15-20 min drive. Clean, and cute apartment. Would absolutely recommend. Only, minor downside, was the downstairs neighbor noise at night. Just something to consider if you are a light sleeper. Overall, I would definitely stay here again.

Artfully decorated, very comfortable, great location

In driving up to the property, I was surprised to see beautiful red rock formations just up the street! The home itself was nicely decorated in happy blue and yellow, very cute and artsy. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed, including lovely little dishes, a tea carafe, and some coffee, spices, and teas. We had access to Netflix which was great. We spent lots of evening time on the couch with our feet up, watching our favorite shows and relaxing. The home is also very close to many stores and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again.

Birthday Getaway

Very clean, perfectly located house with everything you could possibly need for a get away! Every night we had a perfect view of stunning sunsets. Communication with the host was very quick and check-in was seamless! My only 2 complaints are that there isn't a TV in the bedroom (I didn't catch this when I booked) and the parking is not ideal/very rough to get in and out of for the upstairs unit.

Exactly as pictured!

So often the photos show just enough to look nice, leading to disappointment upon arrival. The Morrison House is as charming, well-equipped and spacious as described. On a quiet street where we could leave the deck doors open for a cool breeze, with everything mentioned actually there and available, this property is precisely what we were looking for. Love the colors, the wall colors, accents, and decoration -- just enough, neither cluttered nor spare.

A quiet, homey, and comfortable space

My wife and I spent three nights in this home. Overall, it was wonderful. The space was clean and well-furnished. We cooked breakfasts and dinners there without any issues. The homeowner was great at communicating. She changed the access code prior to our arrival without notifying us, but, when we reached out, she quickly got back to us. The location was the house is off of the “main drag,” but that is something that we preferred, since it was quiet and gave us access to the areas. A few things that we would have preferred would be a firmer bed (the bed had a mattress pad that was too soft) and lighting over the kitchen table. Otherwise, it was a wonderful space, and we recommend it. Thanks!

Spring Fling

The location is easy to find in a residential neighborhood. The kitchen is modern with nice appliances. Open layout with a balcony for relaxing and having your morning coffee. A walk in closet that allows you a lot of space for unpacking. The bathroom has very good lighting and toiletries for your shower. There are a few stairs to climb in the entryway but they were not an issue for us. The parking for our stay was on the edge of the street and we were not going to leave our vehicle there. The lower unit was occupied and they were gracious enough to let us park next to their vehicle on the driveway.

Very cutely decorated space in convenient location

Imagine my delight when this cutely decorated abode was up the street from my hot yoga space and the main road with all the restaurants and grocery stores. Location could not be better! The photos definitely do the space justice and the kitchen is super cute too. The fireplace was a nice addition and there was ample space to spread out as a creative person. Overall very convenient, cozy and functional with all the kitchen wares needed and a spot for parking as well. Short drive to most everything. Be aware there are two sets of steps to use, one up to the unit and one inside the unit. As mentioned in the listing, if you have specific sound needs for recording or phone calls, be aware that they recommend a white noise machine and ear plugs. Definitely recommend this cute space!

The apartment had everything I needed. It was exactly as the photos show. It was clean, tidy and the perfect place and location from which to enjoy Sedona. The host was great, always responsive and informative. I loved my stay here and look forward to returning at some point. I would recommend it.

French Charm

Thank you for a wonderful experience—truly felt like a little slice of Paris in Sedona! Despite the rain, cold, and even a touch of snow, the cozy electric fireplace, giant TV, and views made it easy to relax and appreciate all the natural and artistic beauty around us. The location was really good. A peaceful and memorable stay. Would love to return.
