Magnifique Bch Home, + -600 'de la plage, Slp 10, Wi-Fi, Tidal Cr, zone événement parfait

Gorgeous Beach House, pied de la plage, 4BR / 2Bth, pour 10 personnes, j'ai construit la maison en 1997, il a beau plancher de pin coeur, planchers de BTH de carreaux, spacieux et propre, douche, dehors, station cl de poisson, balançoire banc, hamac, projeté porche, chaises à bascule. Smart TV et 60 "dans la grande salle. Grande escapade romantique et parfait pour mariage ou douche événements. Sur une impasse qui rend le trafic limité et trÚs sûr pour les enfants. Beaucoup de cour pour jouer et versé allée en béton pour faire du vélo.

Tidal ruisseau dans la cour arriĂšre avec le crabe, les crevettes et les poissons. Jetant un net est beaucoup de plaisir et crabbing.

Endroit paisible de sortir et de laisser votre esprit et le corps reste sans distractions. Lay dans le hamac et laisser la brise de mer vous endormir.

Good location

We stayed here for a long weekend for spring break. The location is good to walk to the beach and a quick drive to the little shops and restaurants on the island. We enjoyed our stay.

Beach House

Wonderful home!

This was our third year at Lee and Susan’s home. It is the perfect setup for our 2 families of 4. Very close and easy walk to the beach. We cannot wait for next year!

Beautiful house and great location

We had a wonderful week at Edisto, the house was beautiful had lots of room for my whole family. It’s in a great location and short walk to the beach, which was a plus with 4 grandkids! We had everything we needed and then some at this house!! I would highly recommend this beach rental!

Great Stay

We had a great stay! The location is wonderful-super short walk to the beach. The house was very clean. We had a small issue with the listing showing bunk beds that are not there currently but a quick message with the owner and they had us all set with an air mattress. We would definitely recommend this house and would stay here again.

Great family vacation!

Susie by the sea is wonderful for our family. Our daughter and son and their families,4 grandchildren had the best time here. The bunk beds were a hit with our grandaughters . Thanks Lee and Susan for another fun time. We will be back!

Great Experience

We have stayed at this property multiple times and it’s consistently a wonderful experience. The property is impeccably clean, the owners are helpful and courteous, and all the essentials (paper towels, linens, towels, etc.) are thoughtfully provided. Susie by the Sea is truly one of the best options on the island. Highly recommended.

Love this house!

This is our second time staying at Susie by the Sea. It's so close to the beach; its just 1 block away. The house is super clean and has a lovely kitchen. Everything was just fabulius. We were adulta and the 5 grandkids from ages 5-14. Highly recommend this house!

Thanksgiving Getaway

Lee and Susan were great communicators. The house was lovely and easily accommodated our family. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook while enjoying the rental. All of the outdoor spaces were well used and so relaxing. We enjoyed using both grills. The beach was a short walk away from the rental. We had a peaceful and relaxing time and truly enjoyed our stay.

Fabulous Find!

This was our 2nd time to Susie by the Sea and it did not disappoint! For 6 adults, a 7, 5, & 2 year old plus an infant it was simply perfect. This year we rented a golf cart and it was a huge hit for the grands to ride around the island and see & do things! Susan & Lee are extremely nice to work with and my family feels blessed to get to enjoy their beautiful beach home! We love this place and making memories at Edisto

Holiday Stay

We all completely enjoyed our vacation at Susie by the Sea! We still talk about what an amazing time we had and when we can go back! We love Edisto Island and staying for a week was a treat. The owners are great communicators and their home is designed for a family or 2. We enjoyed the beautiful kitchen/great room for meals and playing games. There is a yard in the back that was great for the kids. The location to the beach, restaurants, and walking/bike trails is perfect and there are so many nice touches that make staying at Susie by Sea the perfect vacation house!

Summer 2022

We absolutely enjoyed our stay. The house was large enough to accommodate our family. It was close enough to walk to the beach. We really appreciated the large driveway and dead-end street as we had a boat and numerous bicycles. Our only complaint was the cleanliness of the floors when we arrived. Edisto remains our favorite family beach. Certain we will be back.

Absolutely LOVED! We will be back!

This house is WAY better than even the listing makes it out to be! The entire property was SPOTLESS! Impeccable communication with the owner and we LOVED the location and backyard! My kids loved fishing in the creek and climbing the small oak tree! The beds are amazingly comfortable and the living room and kitchen were spacious enough for us to have a fantastic Thanksgiving feast! The 3 minute walk to the beach is beautiful and you can hear waves from the front porch! We cannot WAIT to come back!

5 Star Home!

Felt like we hit the jackpot finding this beautiful home on Edisto! It was perfect for our family of 5 adults & 3 young grands (6,4, & 1) The close proximity to the beach, amazing porches (1 screened), outdoor shower to clean the sandy kiddos, fabulous hammock, huge bathrooms and well stocked gorgeous kitchen and lastly the most comfortable beds
 this home far exceeded our expectations. Pictures don’t do it justice Lee & Susan were so easy to communicate with 
 our family would love to return “Susie By the Sea” very soon!

Amazing!

This property and the owners are simply amazing! This was our second year renting this house and it is perfect for our family and friend’s family (total of 4 adults and 4 kids ages 8, 8, 6 and 5). Susan is incredibly responsive and available. Easy walk to the beach access. The boys loved the creek and dock in the backyard. The house layout is perfect and the kitchen had everything we needed for the week. We have already booked our time for Summer 2024!

Super cute and short walk to the beach

This house was even cuter than the photos and everything was clean and in order. The beds were comfy. The grandkids loved the outside shower, sleeping together in the room with the bunk beds, the porch swing, and using the beach toys. The wagon was perfect to pull the 2 and 3 year old grand kids to the beach which is truly only a 4 or 5 minute walk. The adults had lots of room to visit and we had a great time. I would rent this house again for sure! We were 11 people, 6 adults and 4 children ages almost 2, almost 3, 6 and 8 years of age. The 8 year old left a glowing review of the house too!

My wife Susan and I built this home in 1997. We live in Augusta Georgia which is only 150 mi away and went to Edisto for the easy access to offshore fishing which we love to do.
We now have 2 beautiful children, which our interest have changed some, and now we simply enjoy the family time with friends there.

We love hosting families and entertaining. We hope you will find that this home is well stocked kitchen and clean. Please let us know if you have suggestions for improving hospitality or improving the comfort of our beach house.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

Collecting shark teeth on the beach and biking on the island trails and parks. Also the fishing and crabbing. One of the best things to enjoy is learning about the turtles on this island. Turtles lay eggs May-June. Many hatchlings have been spotted on the front beach around Late August - Oct. It is a glorious site if you are lucky enough to be on the beach when a nest hatches!
