The elegant Eagle Lodge is perched upon a ridge overlooking this peaceful 7 acre lake with fishing and boating just feet away. All the comforts of home on the inside with gorgeous views of the surrounding landscape. Just built in May 2023, this patriotic cabin is decorated to honor the history of this great nation.

This is actually my second year staying at one of these cabins - I missed the window to review last time but was not going to miss it again. Cabin has everything you need - even though I don't stay long I catch fish every time I go!

Beautiful serene getaway. Quiet, cozy, and easy to find. Close to many stores in case you forgot something or have an emergency. The host is very kind and informative. My wife and I will be scheduling another getaway soon. Thanks and God Bless. :)

Perfect for my needs

Everything was wonderful. I loved the Americana theme. Communications from host were received before I reached the property. I asked 2 questions and got quick responses both times. It was perfect for me to stay and filled all my needs. It is 1 mile or less from town. The fridge keeps things COLD! I used the Keurig but not any of the other appliances. the shower was a good size and a nice rain-like shower head. I didn't notice the towels under the bathroom sink until the 2nd day. The AC was great. If I were a single man, I would likely live in a structure like this permanently. I didn't fish, but there were several people enjoying fishing from the bank and one in a bateau. The porch is nice, the rocker is comfortable and I was relaxed just hanging out there. Plenty of extra bedding should you need the sleeper sofa and I used an extra blanket for the bed. Just enough furniture to keep the space from being crowded. I didn't use the tv for anything.

This was great for our trip back home to visit family. It was quiet and tastefully decorated. The portable cooktop could probably stand to be replaced, but it was still pretty functional and suited our needs for occasionally cooking our own meals.

The sweetest little spot

I legitimately thought this might be a scam because it's so affordable with only good reviews, but I took a shot. The little cabin is the perfect amount of space for me and my partner, it was clean and cozy and had extras of everything. Looked just like the pics. We got there late in the dark and wandered over to the wrong building and when I called the owner answered immediately and helped out. They are making a little retreat affordable when most places are pricing people out. 5 stars all the way

What a perfect stay! We caught a handful of fish to add to our annual MayDay fish fry. We were down for Foodie Land at Fair Park in Dallas. It’s the perfect distance from the big city. This will definitely be the spot I try and book for all my overnight stays in the DFW area.

Sweet getaway

This place is located just outside of town, close to everything. Very clean and super quiet. You can see the stars. It does not have a barbecue grill, there is a Walmart aroung the corner. You can pick up a small one for like $15 bucks, the other thing it needs is a fire pit. đŸ”„ our neighbor had one and we were a lil jelly. Wanted to also say, the place feels bigger than the picture. I would definitely rent again!

Great Visit

It was nice. Very clean. Very quiet. The only request or recommendation that I can think of is putting some kind of slip resistant pad under the rug by the shower. That rug slides FAST when you step out of the shower.
