Make some memories at this unique and family-friendly place. The brand-new Bass Lodge is spacious and feels like home. It can sleep seven people comfortably and it’s right on the edge of the water. Enjoy the outside cooking space with fire pit and barbecue grill and stairs going down to a dock for immediate water access. The inside boasts of a full kitchen and wonderful waterfall shower. Lots of fishing to be done or just lounge around and watch our 55-inch smart TV.

Very well kept cabin, with all of the amenities that one could need. The space suited 4 grown adults very well with pleanty of room. Check-in and out process was super easy. Will stay here again and would recommend to anyone.

Week Getaway

Cabin was very clean, easily accessible, and had every comfort you would need. All beds were very comfortable, and kitchen was well stocked. Would definately recommend to anyone, and will be retuening in the future.

Excellent for short stays

Nice, quiet and secluded. Peaceful pond to look out at and everything was as described. You can even rent kayaks or canoes to get out on the water. We will be back!

Thank you for making my husbands surprise birthday fishing trip a success! He fell in love with the lodge immediately. Got to fishing right away! The lodge had everything we could need for our stay and I also love that they had stuff not only for kids (toys, game boards) but also stuff for babies. We brought my 11mo and I noticed the kitchen also had baby utensils for her to use! The pond was gorgeous and although the weather wasn’t the best, that didn’t stop us from fishing all weekend and using the boats. Thank you for the perfect stay! We plan on coming back with our older girls.

Bass lodge

Big fishing trip planned for 4 days 3 nights. Fished 2 days and only caught brim, I assumed there was all types of fish and maybe stocked ( my fault for not asking) but the description of property does say “lots of fishing to be done “. Other than having to go to lake Tawakani to catch fish for the fish fry the accommodations were great.

Not sure why you left a four star. I guess it’s because you don’t know how to fish. We had somebody come and stay here that made a half an hour video and posted it online. Many people have come and caught 6 to 8 pound bass, plenty of crappie, and huge catfish. If you type in cheap fisherman’s heaven, you will be able to find the video if you search near commerce on the website that everyone goes to for good videos. Sorry I can’t share the website as VRBO blocks it.

This was our second time back at this residence and it was even better than the first. The first time, I booked the Bass Lodge for my husbands birthday weekend and we had an amazing time fishing all weekend despite the rainy weather. The cabin is soooo cozy and perfect for groups or a family. Lots of room! We fell in love with the place, we had to come back for Fathers Day weekend with the rest of our girls. They had a blast fishing and going on the boat. We spent our time grilling, making smores, fishing, and hanging out by the fire. Definitely will keep coming back. Thanks for having my family and I! 🖤
