For the second time, we had a relaxing stay at this cute house. The weather has been beautiful so we have been outside in the yard in the evenings, playing and eating. Our party of four adults and three young children had plenty of room. The house is well stocked and just a five minute walk to the beach. The soft serve stand and the general store are nearby and York Beach village is walkable via a quiet dirt road.

At home near Long Sands

The house is so comfortable: just the right size for our party of 7, all the kitchen items we needed, a nice outdoor shower, a lovely deck and yard, and a short walk to the beach. The oversized washer and dryer and the air conditioners in every room are bonuses.

Perfect Summer Getaway

Booked this years trip completely last minute and luckily found this gem! Super cute, very roomy, amazing backyard in a tucked away in a friendly neighborhood. A block or two away from walking path to beach/stairs. Walking path located beside 'blinking cone'. Would defintely stay here again! :

Early June in York

Location is perfect, yard anddeck are great, very modern grill and outdoor shower. Indoor space very nice but could due with some updating.

Sweet Cottage

The location of this property is sublime -- walking distance to Long Shore and off the beaten path, so quiet and peaceful. A pair of doves even nested on the deck balcony! The kitchen had everything we needed to make breakfasts and lunches. And overall, the cottage is spacious and comfortable. The new washer/dryer unit was a real plus, especially given the limited number of towels. My only suggestion is to update bed linens and towels.

Best vacation in years at York

We try & vacation at York beach every year. My great grandmother lived here for 40 yrs. Long sands beach is my favorite place on earth. That being said , a three minute walk from the house to Longsands beach .so quick . Fabulous house & location . Plenty of space . Spacious & well kept backyard with hot& cold outdoor shower. picnic table , chairs . Gas grill with extra tank of gas . nice deck with additional table with umbrella and chairs . Everything works - properly. From showers to grill outside. Inside is comfortable & clean .plenty of space & beds. Downstairs bathroom is brand new and I loved it! There aren’t any air conditioners, at first I was bummed ,however I quickly learned not having air conditioners meant kids played outside & we all went to the beach each day - kept everyone up & motivated.
