York and the surrounding area have so much to offer. You don’t have to go far to have a great day. The oceans, the food, sea creatures (if you have little nature lovers), and the views! The house was so cozy, it felt like home and had everything we needed. The lighthouse view in the morning and sunset were a delight.

This property was everything it promised and then some! It is a cozy beach house with an amazing view of Nubble lighthouse. The property was clean and well appointed. Bonus… it is across the street from Dunne’s ice cream. We would for sure book again! Thank you for making our stay memorable!

The location can’t be beat! The house was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Dunnes Ice Cream is literally across the street (dangerously convenient!) and A Little Auk at the Viewpoint is right next door for snacks and drinks. The deck was perfect for morning coffee and evening cocktails—pretty much everything you need for a York getaway.You may hear some music from Saturday night events nearby, but it didn’t bother us at all and was more background than anything. Great location, great amenities, and a great place to relax and enjoy York!

Long weekend visit

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Star of the Sea Cottage. The view was spectacular of the Nubble Lighthouse and Dunne’s ice cream was just across the street. The cottage was so clean and perfect for our long weekend visit.
