CAPE NEDDICK-STUNNING Cape w/ Period details rescued from historic mansion grace this unique 4 bdrm home.Our stunning reproduction Cape near the beach is the perfect place to create family memories. Tons of space inside, with 3,000 Sq Ft of living space. Outside, take advantage of the large lawn for fun and games, plenty of parking, three decks and a private patio off the primary suite. An open kitchen and dining room makes it easy to host meals following a day exploring the coast or relaxing at the beach. The home has a large living room with fireplace and an additional smaller living area making it easy for extended families to comfortably enjoy the space. Using the stairway in the primary suite you can access the bonus room that is perfect for kids of all ages. With plenty of privacy inside and out, the home is also close to all that York has to offer. Cape Neddick beach is .7 miles, Short Sands Beach is 2 miles away and Long Sands beach 2.5 Miles- all with easy parking options.

Loved this house! My family stayed here the last week of August and had an amazing time. I have little kids (almost 2 and 3.5), the set up was great. Little side porch has gates and a small fenced in spot off the primary bedroom. The house itself was clean and so cute inside! The walk to cape neddick was easy

Clean and nice size house on a quiet street able to comfortably hold all 9 in our family. Nicely furnished and many amenities included. Also nice that at small herd of deer and some turkeys paraded almost every evening for the family to enjoy.

Such a nice experience. The house is spacious and super nice. Perfectly clean. More than adequately stocked with equipment and supplies. Convenient location but quite private. Communication before and during our stay was clear and on point. The house is helpfully well-documented. Especially appreciate the labels on some of the light switches and instructions for how to work the tv! And Cape Neddick never disappoints.

Fantastic property

When we first arrived, my 6 yo grandson explored every room and deck, including the basement. He said, “This is the best day of my life” when he saw the table tennis and televisions. (He is not allowed TV at his home).The house is centrally located to beaches and nearby attractions. It is fully equipped with everything you would need to cook, relax, and enjoy your stay. Chris, one of the hosts, reaches out on a regular basis offering suggestions of local happenings. I HIGHLY recommend this property if you are looking for a southern Maine escape.

Fantastic Family Vacation Home

This home in Cape Neddick was perfect for our short family vacation. We wish we'd booked a longer stay. The house was incredibly clean and spacious, with plenty of rooms for individuals to chill and find some space to themselves. The beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of bathrooms - including one with a claw-foot tub.There are lots of board games stocked on the bookshelves and the televisions were easy to use and watch streaming channels. The kitchen was one of the best I've ever seen in a rental home, stocked with every possible need.Chris was very responsive and great with his communication. We even lost power and he was quick to look it up and see that the entire street was without electricity. Luckily, it was restored quickly.This house is in a quiet neighborhood but is conveniently located close to Route 1. It is also only 1 mile from the beach, and one of my daughters took advantage of this to run two mornings to the beach and take a quick dip.The check-out procedures were very detailed and clear, which was appreciated.I highly recommend this house for a large family get together!

Absolutely Perfect

Why only 5 stars? Because I can’t give 6. An absolutely perfect house for our family, with plenty of room to stretch out, all of the amenities needed, and a huge deck to enjoy the outside, and very clean while maintaining its historic charm. The location is wonderful— 5 minutes to the beach, an hour to Boston and an hour to Portland, with so many great restaurants and shops near by. Chris is an awesome host— super responsive and accommodative, he really goes above and beyond. I can’t recommend this location enough!! Just book it!

Wonderful Vacation

We had such a fun and restful time with our extended family. Even though we had quite a bit of rain during our stay we still managed to have a great time. The property was excellent for us and had everything we needed. Plenty of room to spread out and very comfortable accommodations. Great spot to reach and be near everything that interested us our hosts keep the property well stocked which made our stay easy. Def will consider renting again.

Our group of 9, ages 6 months to 78 had a wonderful, comfortable, vacation at this home. First impressions are important, the home was spotless.Kitchen was well equipped and easy for preparing meals . The location was perfect, very close to the small beach (name?) which was great for the young children. Highly recommend this home.

Exceptional All Around!

We had an amazing stay here! The host is extremely pleasant and responds very quickly to inquiries. Everything about the property is wonderful. The location, the cleanliness, the space, especially the amenities - plush towels, comfortable beds and furniture, AC, beach gear, and more! This truly felt like home away from home. Lovely, comfortable, and capacious home

Joined by family of 10 plus 2 children 2 and 5, I was delighted to stay in this beautiful home. We enjoyed the 2 living spaces, the large and small decks plus private outdoor space accessible from the master bedroom. All appliances were new and in perfect working order. The home was well equipped with all one would wish for in preparing meals, with toys and games, and all linens and towels. It is all as stipulated in the property description. An added feature was the tasteful decor and some great prints hanging throughout the home. All interactions with the host were smooth and easy. I can’t recommend this home enough for a large group seeking a perfect spot to vacation by the sea.

Adult Family Weekend Getaway

Very clean and comfortable everywhere throughout the house! This property had everything we needed and more. The home is just off the main roadway where it was very quiet and peaceful yet close to everything we wanted. I would recommend this home again and again!!

Beautiful Cape Neddick Property for Family Vacation

This home was the perfect property for our family trip to Maine. Location-wise it is a very short drive to Portsmouth, many of the cute coastal towns, shopping, restaurants, etc. The house itself was incredibly clean and offered lots of common space when we wanted to be together. It’s also spacious enough that you can have private moments if desired. Truly a wonderful stay at a beautiful property.

Destination Wedding

We came to Maine for a destination wedding of a nephew. This was a lovely place and we were happy with the accommodations. Our (grown) daughter was thrilled to have an exercise bike in the basement. It was used! We loved the multi level porch and cooked lobster on the grill one night for other brothers/sisters and their spouses. This was a comforatable rental and we are glad we stayed there. Five minutes to the wedding at Union Bluff and otherwise great location and neighborhood. I recommend. (It looks like it would also be great for a small army of children in the adorable and attractive dormitory upstairs.)

Nicole and I have lived in York with our family for over 10 years and vacationed in the area for many more. Our two oldest kids graduated from the High School and it’s our planned retirement location. We love the beaches, restaurants and all the local hangouts.

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

This home is great for a family looking for plenty of space inside and out. Our stunning reproduction cape has a ton of character and its numerous windows allows for lots of sunlight. The biggest of the decks is 20x30 proving lots of space for summers many pastimes.
The walk to the Cape Neddick beach can be done in 18 minutes or very short bike or car ride. The campground next to the beach has all day parking for $10-15 all day. Our kids enjoyed this beach at a young age finding shells and playing in the shallow water. When they hit High School, they jumped off the bridge, paddle boarded and sunbathed.

It will be hard to find a house with more outside deck space! We have three decks and a fenced in patio. It’s great to be close to the beaches, shops and restaurants, but also have quiet space inside and out to enjoy time with friends and family.
