This newly updated 2bdr/2bth deluxe condo on the 18th Fairway in Country Club Villas has amazing Ocean views and a spacious floor plan. The home boasts 2 master bedrooms with en suite bathrooms. Bedroom 1 has a Cal King Bed and Bedroom 2 has a King Bed that can be configured as two twins. Beautiful Lanai with outdoor dining and BBQ. Condo amenities include a fully appointed kitchen, in-unit washer/dryer, beach gear and designated parking. The complex has 3 pools, tennis and pickle ball courts and is very well located in Kailua. Great condo

3 friends stayed at Kimberley’s place as we were here for the Ironman. The accommodation was perfect for our needs. The location was ideal being a short walk to the shopping centre. The property had a nice pool and the lanai off the unit was enjoyed in the morning watching the sun rise and in the evening for the sunset. Kimberley was very helpful and answered any questions we had - would highly recommend this spot!

Can't say we'd be back.

The place was pretty clean, but all the furniture in the main bedroom had a horrible odor, so we kept clothes in packing cubes in closet. Then the smokers next door kept running us off the lanai and the folks upstairs tv was so loud we couldn't rest until after 9:30. Paying for the view and a beautiful lanai just didn't work out for us. This is the second time we have stayed in this neighborhood...and last. Wish it wasn't like this. Great location. Bed was comfortable, but smokers said they had stayed there before and the living room chairs attested to such. It wasn't until after our 2nd call to owners that smokers stopped and noise was kept to a loud hum. The signs outside clearly state there's to be no smoking inside or on lanai's since 2017. Mgmt needs to be more in touch with what's going on and check in to see that guests are doing ok.

Dear Jim and Laura, Thank you for your review. It is unfortunate that the guests of someone else caused such havoc for your stay; however, I do disagree with some of your comments. When you brought the smoking issue to my attention, I immediately contacted the resident manager of the complex to investigate. Because you could not tell exactly where the smoke was coming from, he could only walk the complex hoping to find who was doing it. When we spoke the second time, and you still did not know the exact location, I personally came to the complex and knocked on all doors surrounding our unit. Some were home, some were not so I asked the resident manager to please put up flyers on the doors to remind people of the smoking rules. The third time you called; you had figured out who was doing the smoking and we were able to contact the owners of that unit for a resolution. Whether or not the "smokers" had stayed in our unit is questionable and if they did, it was more than 18 months ago. The living room chairs do not smell of smoke. Additionally, the bedroom furniture does not have an odor per the current guests that checked in the day after you left. Again, I appreciate your review and I hope that your next stay in the Kailua Kona area will be better for you.

Golf course condo with ocean view

The condo was pretty much as advertised, however, even though the listing shows air conditioning there is none. This was not a problem in early February but could be problematic later in the year. The condo is a bit older and showed its age in some spots but, with that said, it was clean and comfortable. The lanai was another story; it was quite unkept. There was landscaping debris and at least one dead cockroach on it making it a bit difficult to enjoy. The window blinds in the second bedroom did not close well making it difficult to shut out the lights from the parking lot at night. The unit appliances included a dishwasher but no dishwasher soap had been provided. Not a major item but it would have been nice to know in advance so we could have been prepared. Another nit was that the condo “how to” book nicely included the password for the wifi network but the network itself was not identified. Kimberly, the owner, was unable to provide the network name so it took a process of elimination and several tries to find the correct network. With all that said we enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.
