Summary:
Discover the charm of this cozy Lake Huron Retreat! Nestled near Whites Beach on Saginaw Bay of Lake Huron, it offers a tranquil escape. Explore the renowned Saganing Eagles Landing Casino just 1.4 miles away or take a stroll to the nearby public beach. Relax in the cozy living room with movies and books or enjoy family fun with board games in the dining room. Partake in outdoor activities like snowshoeing and ice fishing in the winter and swim, kayak, fish, and bask in the sun in the summer!

The Space:
The home is 2 bedrooms and 1 full bath. It is an open concept for the main rooms of the home. Beautiful view of Lake Huron, while relaxing in the living room or even from the dining room while eating dinner. It is beautifully designed with a cabin feel inside. Outside there is a large backyard that goes out to the lake via a new large beach that is shallow enough for little ones to wade & swim. The water does get to 80 feet deep much further out and is fantastic for serious fishing - INCLUDING ICE FISHING! When the tide is out you can walk across the sand to Whites Tavern (Bar and Grill) and enjoy some food and drinks. When back at the home you can enjoy watching some television or play some board games at night and on clear nights you can go outside and look at the stars. Very peaceful property with gorgeous views!

The Neighborhood:
The neighborhood and views are fantastic looking out into Lake Huron. There is a walkable path to White’s Beach Tavern for some great food, games and fun! You will park in the grass driveway on the left side of the house!

The location in a rural setting on the lake was a perfect getaway! You can tell love is being put into making this a comfortable and modernized getaway. We appreciated that it was stocked better than any hotel but it was warm and cozy and comfortable. It was a wonderful spot to be able to drive to lots of beautiful Michigan gems too.

Enjoyable lakefront getawsy

Great hosts, great views, well stocked property. Unfortunately Mother Nature had other plans for our vacation and we suffered under the heat. No fault of the incredible hosts. At night the cooling breezes by the lake were most enjoyable. We look forward to returning.

Perfect location. Great views of the lake!

The property was very clean and organized. Great location for views of the bay! The host had good recommendations for local places to grab a sandwich and drink. Five stars!!

Beautiful and relaxing

This place was gorgeous! The owners thought of everything! Walk in and relax! There are no words to describe the sunrises on the lake! They had kayaks and other water fun items! The owners were great and very responsive

Absolutely breath taking, serenity at its finest. Cabin feel with incredible sun rises. Lifes simple pleasures in one amazing place. Found my inter soul. Sister trips are the best trips. Everything was perfection.

A great place on the bay

I spent four nights here and it was great. The owners have put in a lot of thought to make sure they keep a great vacation rental. I am also a vacation rental manager from the other side of Michigan, just for background. The location is a little off the beaten path in a good way, but not far from restaurants, gas etc. The small neighborhood was nice and quiet and watching birds in the bay from the back yard was awesome. You can watch egrets, cranes, plovers etc feed and talk to each other, bring some binoculars. The house itself was spotless, AC worked great during an unseasonably warm week. Thanks for a great stay!

A wonderful place to stay.

We really enjoyed our stay and the place had everything we needed, about the best stocked home we've ever stayed at. The home was very clean, and they went out of their way with little things like firewood waiting at the firepit. Very comfortable beds, and a nice little personal beach overlooking Saginaw Bay. My son and I enjoyed watching the shooting stars and satellites at night. Todd was very prompt and friendly as our contact. I would definitely come back again! Thanks Dave Ridiman

Expectations Not Met

Upon our arrival, the thermostat read 85 degrees. We discovered that the air conditioner's exhaust tube was poorly attached with duct tape, causing hot air to blow back into the house. Given that an A/C was a key factor in our decision to rent, this was very problematic. It took us approximately six hours to cool the house down after retaping the tube and repositioning fans.The following morning, we were disheartened to find that the beach's water level was drastically different from the pictures. The water was extremely low, requiring us to walk over 100 yards through marsh before reaching water above our knees. We specifically chose this location for beach access, kayaks, a paddle boat, and a paddleboard, but the low water made it nearly impossible to utilize these amenities, and we couldn't even get the paddle boat out.Beyond these major issues, we found the house to be generally unkempt. There were personal belongings in multiple rooms, cobwebs and dust throughout, and bugs on all the screens and windows. While the lake view and sunrise from the couch were nice, the dirty windows obstructed the view. We were also not pleased with the black sheets.Ultimately, we ended up leaving early due to these unmet expectations. On a positive note, the house was very well stocked, the couch was comfortable, and the location was quiet. We also thoroughly enjoyed Tony's Tacos.

Perfect family get-away
