Awesome mountain experience

House offered so much, was clean comfortable and very nice. We enjoyed the ping pong and pool table, the amazing views and the outdoor fire pit, we will be back!

Outstanding

It was a great stay at Pollard farm house. Beautiful location and close to all major attractions. Very well organized house and Amanda was very responsive and made sure we had comfortable stay. I highly recommend this place.

Wonderful Farmhouse in Newland/Linville area

My husband and I frequent many VRBOs and this one was so well done. Very well appointed home, super clean and so many nice touches throughout. Bravo and we can't wait to come back for a longer trip next time!

Loved the Pollard Farmhouse

We spent the week of NYE here with friends and had a blast. It was very cold while we were there and enjoyed all the fireplaces. Great place for adults with the pool and dart boards. Basement was a huge plus with all those amenities and more. Two fridges, a lot of a kitchen equipment made feeding everyone simple. The property and views from it are real cozy. We would stay here again!

Family and friends getaway

This cabin was absolutely amazing! The location was secluded , quet and very peaceful. The layout of the cabin was wonderful there was plenty of room and it had everything we needed. The outside was as perfect as the cabin itself. We had a nice relaxing stay and everyone enjoyed our visit. We are already wanting to plan another visit!

Wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful stay over July 4th weekend. We had 4 adults and 4 kids ranging from 3-12yo and everyone enjoyed the house. It’s spacious, well appointed and very comfortable. The property is immaculately kept and the fire pit at the back was well used. The host was very responsive and answered any questions quickly. I would definitely recommend this house and we hope to be back again! Thanks for a great stay!

Beautiful scenery.

It truly is tucked away and the drive into it was a bit challenging, but we couldn't ask for a more beautiful view out the front. We loved the scenery. With a scenery like that there's no real need to travel far in search for a more picturesque spot. Inside and outside all the amenities needed to keep everyone entertained. Plenty of space everywhere. Can't wait to go back!

Relaxing escape

Our family enjoyed a perfect getaway weekend and made memories that will last a lifetime. This is a beautifully appointed home on a secluded property. We admired all the lovely details and craftsmanship that have been poured into this gorgeous home. It has a huge front porch, comfy beds and is fully stocked with everything you need to feel right at home. Our teens loved the game filled basement and we all enjoyed eating s’mores by the fire pit. Book this property now, you won’t regret it!

Amazing value

We LOVED staying at this gorgeous sprawling home. It was perfect for a group of 8 adults and you could’ve fit some kids with us. There is SO MUCH to do between the pooo table, ping pong table, games, large screen TVs, great kitchen, back patio and fire pit, etc. the beds were comfortable, everyone had plenty of space to sprawl out - and they even put up a Christmas tree from their working Christmas tree farm - we had a slight issue where the shower water took forever to heat up and there was a leak under one shower into the floor below, but the hosts were attentive.

Amazing Farmhouse!

This is a beautiful farmhouse built and more importantly supplied for a large group. I’ve stayed at a number of VRBO’s over the years, and this has the space, kitchenware and soft goods (paper towels, garbage bags, toilet paper, etc
) for a large group staying multiple days as we were. It is definitely remote, and the last mile to the property is not for a timid driver, and I certainly wouldn’t plan to arrive at night. But with a proper vehicle it is well worth it!

2024 Dec Ski Trip

If i could give 6 stars, i would. This rental is better than advertised. You will see wild life. We say 12 turkeys and 15 deer in 4 days.This property is really in the woods. You will have a 15deg incline for the final 1/4 mile into the property. From the main road to the property, it is approx 10-12 minutes down a gravel road. 4wd is highly recommended. Google Maps will take you to the front door.On another note...This area was hit hard by Helene and the residents are still recovering. The local residents are ecstatic to see visitors spending money in the community and say this is the fastest way to recover, which is going to take time. I applaud the resiliency of the community. Great people!! Very friendly and accommodating.We will be going back soon!
